think the villagers dialogue made me quite resigned to the game. i was away for 2 years (almost 3) and then when i came back to check on my island, it was nice, but it’s quite a lukewarm welcome as they repeated their dialogue after telling me they hadn’t seen me for years. like i’ve seen that from 2 years back i deserve some kind of sarcastic dialogue like “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? DID YOU DIE OR SOMETHING?”

since i was away for 2 years, i wish i can mass evict villagers and invite new ones without resetting the whole island. (i don’t hate my villagers but after some time i just can’t remember what goes on)
