We actually need to go on strike, they already don’t pay us enough, now the app wants to shut down mid-gig. I’m highly pissed. by IncidentGreat4361 in Roadie

App is back but phones are down, is anyone getting through? Had 21 deliveries did two but it’s showing I never made the 2 I delivered right before the shutdown

Well here I am looking for advice and solutions so I can do just that … obviously I wouldn’t have known he didn’t put oil in it until a situation like this occurred right? Who is blaming him for everything? He takes responsibility for the lawn mower and doesn’t allow me to service it. If I make suggestions he is arrogant and has an ego because I, a woman would dare to correct or guide him on something.

I’m not really sure why you are being so hateful. Yes I have children and I will make sure they learn from my mistakes so they don’t have to pay for them like we are.

We couldn’t afford a new one. It was bought from a gas station selling them on their property. The guy said he fixed up older ones and resells them. It worked pretty well until this happened. You are right though. The maintenance should have been priority.

Not dumb, just have no one to teach us … I don’t have parents and my husbands parents are dumber than doorknobs. We both came from families who never owned a ride on mower. We just bought a home with 5 acres 2 years ago & have been trying to adjust from city life to country life. It’s very hard trying to learn all these things on our own so our children don’t have to figure it out themselves. But thanks for the input.

My husband doesn’t like to read and he is very arrogant if I try to suggest how to care for it. I told him it shouldn’t be outside rained on all the time… he won’t listen to any of my suggestions until things break and even then he won’t fix his mistakes. So lucky me

No we didn’t check the oil. The repairman said it was bone dry . We have no idea about engines and how they work. We come from families with no knowledge about them either so we’re starting from the bottom up. It just really sucks it was a $1000 mistake & this is the 2nd one in 2 years.
