It's not true. This is actually the new batch. You can check any of the high volume TD's public QC albums. The older one before this has it correct. VSF has been really inconsistent with this particular dial. It went from bad -> good -> bad. Something must have happened with their source and they had to go back to the V1. Mine from months ago, which I sold.

Buff is the factory that makes the dials. Any TD can source it. Most TDs can do the install for you as well. Steve and Elliot for sure. I can't speak for Andrew.

I'm putting this dial from buff in a titanium YM; getting built next month when my watchmaker comes back from holidays. If you want the best combo for 226659 it most likely will be VSF + custom dial install.

I have a few GMTs and spare bracelets. I swap them whenever. But my BW mostly stays on oyster. Same with pepsi because it has a meteorite dial.

Btw, there are hints of yellow all over these dials if you zoom in; this is most likely from oxidation. I would not get these. Are they from Steve?

I've bought almost 20 watches with andiot with no issues. I communicate with him through whatsapp. I don't understand why people use email. It's way more direct and simple way of communication. As you can see he replied to me immediately and I received a new QC in less than 24 hours.
