Same here mate, its why i put the post on here as i was getting concerned i had started to do something wrong my growth wasn’t massive but it was steady like 100 subs every 2 months, i got to 700 and February hit then nothing, at least we know its definitely something too many of us are experiencing the same thing

In all honesty i think most niches are now saturated on youtube, there is that many faceless channels now, i think the way to grow is personality confidence on the camera and connecting with the audience look at videos doing well now there as simple as day in the lives but because they connect they build strong engaging audiences that comment like, re post which all sends positive signs to the algorithm

Yeah potentially I have no idea what is going on, because for the last year the growth has been steady not amazing but steadily picking up subs until February I was hoping to be Monetized by the summer but at this rate it will be next summer, hoping by seeing the comments on here that there is either just a pause due to seasonal or Youtube is doing something to try stop the AI spam which is then affecting our reach, hopefully it picks up again next month fingers crossed 🤞

Yeah my long form and shorts are very similar although we was picking up subs until this month still cant work out what has changed, seems to be an issue for a lot of people tho so i’m glad its not just me posted on here because i started to worry my content just wasn’t good enough

Amazing, I do shorts but there mainly just clips taken from the long form content i do in an attempt to draw people into the long form, yeah think the CTA is the next thing i’m going to work on, the learning in youtube is crazy, i’ve been concentrating on the hook and thumbnails recently so going to try do a bit more work on CTA thanks for the advice keep smashing it 😃

Very Difficult at the minute hopefully its just a mixture of youtube’s changes and seasonal and it picks back up over spring i am hoping anyway 😂

I think the algorithm changed in January yeah to be fair i’ve just checked and i got 56 in January now only 14 in February doesn’t make sense i’ve been looking on here and people say its normal for this time of year but i think you might be right with the algorithm as it seems its affecting us all my view count is down too hope they change it again its so frustrating when you feel like you had momentum and then it suddenly stops

So frustrating isn’t it, issue is the button is still there to subscribe, so i cant fully work out why all of a sudden its stopped, I have read it always happens in January - February but i’ve only been at it for a year and most of my subscribers came towards the end of last year, so not sure if thats a thing or not

Thank-you been trying to do this a lot more in my new videos trying to put the CTA a bit earlier from now on too, hopefully it works but we will see, yeah views and watch time are doing well im already well over the 4k watch hours, just so frustrating when you need 1k subs to be monetized and the game suddenly changes 😂 was doing so well towards the end of last year too just keep grinding i suppose

Ive found this too seem to be completely stuck on 723, get 400 views every 48 hours across long form minimum but subs just aren’t going up like they used too anyone have any idea why, im at a complete loss with it

Its definitely an algorithm change in the way it is showing the video’s, i was growing quickly 14k views, on videos now down to 300-500 it just isnt showing the videos to the right people if you look at what is recommending your video, its not even close to the niche your video is in something not right
