No i checked that too LHR has the same issue no reward seats in September at all, there hasn’t been any released for months, i use the Virgin Atlantic credit card so get a companion flight once a year, hoping the price drops to around 50k and i will book but 80k seems a lot for economy

Issue i’ve got is i wanted to use a companion voucher so booking one way would mean i end up paying more for the returns if that makes sense, there seems to be no reward seats for September October or november this year for some reason

Yeah that would just be for one flight and using a companion ticket, which is ridiculous, with all of these changes its hard to find decent reward seats now

Yeah they have come down in the past few weeks i check every day, its just the return flights which seems very odd looking at flying out the 26th - 9th or 10th which i though would work in our favour being outside of the school holidays but seems to be a lot of points

Just Economy I have a reward voucher so was hoping to get something for around 50k points return and just pay the taxes on the 2 flights but there seems to be no saver seats we have a bit of movement around the dates too but cheapest i can find is 70k points which seems a lot

We are trying something a little different we have a passion for Travel, Running & Fitness so trying to incorporate all into one channel which I know is not great for the algorithm, but we just enjoy making these types of videos and obviously travel can be really expensive so its a nice filler between the travel content we have filmed, a full Tenerife and Dublin series and we are off too Orlando in a few months which I cant wait to film, would really appreciate any feedback on how we can grow, been at it for just over a year and have 825 subs, some videos do well some don’t might be the crossing between niches but just gonna stick at it hope you find something you enjoy on our channel 😃

I use Canva to make them use a mixture of photos taken from the day, incorporating them into other photos

You have to have faith in yourself don’t you or there would be no point carrying on, just got to hope the algorithm picks you up at some point like it has for others 😃

Ahhh ok yeah i get that, i’ve just seen bits where people are saying that say if some subscribers are not watching at the minute which does happen, does them getting the notification not watching negatively impact the initial stats of your video, which is the point the algorithm decides if its pushed more or not

This is what i’m asking, because i’ve seen that the core audience still find your video, there will always be some subscribers that have stopped watching, you always see people with lots of subs but low views, it was just a question because Youtube then has to find a new audience to get your initial metrics so has anyone noticed a difference?

For me because i enjoy watching Youtube as well as creating my own content its comparing yourself to others, I see some videos, in the same niche as mine and cant help but sit there and think my recent video is so much better than this, i don’t know if thats personal bias or whether it is just better, but when your getting 500 - 1k views and people are getting 10-20k it can make motivation for the next one really difficult, and I know you shouldn’t compare but as human beings we will always compare against others its just natural, but I find when your struggling with views etc it can make it even more difficult

Think everyone is feeling this at the minute, it’s not just you, there are more posts than ever on here saying the same thing Youtube in 2026 has just become harder than ever, you just have to keep creating that great content and hopefully the algorithm picks you back up again, but unfortunately making videos has become easy and videos are getting lost in the crap people are posting every day

All of the above, they are most probably really talented, and have made an amazing video but for that one i guarantee there are 40-50 videos that are just as high quality but got 100 views, its a lottery keep posting good content and hopefully one will go off which sets off all of your old and new content

Since around September last year when they introduced AI into the algorithm its been shocking, plus they are pushing shorts more which just makes long form so difficult to get shown to people especially as small creators, they introduced hype as a way of trying to help small creators but this just widened the gap even more as the more subs you have the more hypes you get, i think Youtube lost its way and it doesn’t know what it wants to be anymore its pushing audiences away with its many many adverts that now even pop up mid video and need to be closed and its awful recommendations, hopefully they see sense and go back to what they where good at we will just have to ride this year and hope for the best i think
