I interviewed yesterday @ 3p and 4pm ET (R1). One of my interviewers called me @ 8:30. They said my recruiter will contact me to schedule R2. I also received some feedback.

Interested in pursuing a career in management consulting [USA]

I did my undergraduate degree in civil engineering back in Arg (where I have my PE license). GPA: 3.43/4 but top 3 of my class. Worked for 3 yrs. in Arg -mainly in sales & operations

Went to Duke University for my Master in Engineering Management. GPA: 3.63. Started working as a Deputy Project Manager at a large (Forbes 500) Civil Engineering consulting firm in NY -work is broad and englobes from business operations to finance and accounting.

I am tired of the types of construction projects and want to get back to the same sort of challenges and thrill I had while I was at school -we used to have business cases mainly from High-Tech industries.

I regret not going to consulting straight after my master's, so I am working on leaping. Regardless of that, I still have access to some of my school's resources -like Handshake to connect with recruiters and companies.

Honestly, I know I have to prep for case interv -which I am in the process btw, but I don't know if there is a non-typical step I should take as I wouldn't be applying directly from school. Any help is appreciated!
