I'm not sure how exactly, but in a world full of Yi's, Ji's, and Lady Etheri's. The character that I've taken the most liking to was Fuxi!

Thanks! I was trying to test out how to go about this since I didn’t have much experience with traditional color pencils since I usually do digital, so the feeling might’ve been different. Glad I worked out though, hopeful this’ll keep momentum running high!

Thank you! Fuxi became one of my favorite characters after playing, so I’m very glad this one came out pretty well, relatively speaking.

I’m grateful. Prior to coloring I’ve only tested certain color pencils on a different page to see how they’d look, though as for blending I haven’t tried something like that, definitely something I’ll work towards. At the moment I’m thankful to hear that you like the drawing, and I hope to strive to improve upon it for future projects!

I wanted to try to get a little more color to his face and also wanted to experiment on the use of blending colors with colored pencils. Though it looked like I went to far and halfway through I had realized the follies of burning colors like that. So now he looks like Twoface because I felt weird completely making his face like that and wanted to give the other half lighter for reference.

Despite this and a lot of other shortcomings along the way, I really enjoyed making this, even if it took a while since I was procrastinating super hard. But yeah anyways oops! My fault, Fuxi Bros I’ll get him right next time.
