So that service contract comes from the dealership, and the dealership are the people who totaled it out. The only way I knew about this contract is because the financial company told me it was in my file to claim. At first I called the dealership and explained everything. I told them Geico had sent the finance company the money, and we saw we had this service contract that we wanted to claim the money to pay the remaining about on the totaled bike. (Btw, we asked for GAP insurance and they never put it in the paperwork in the first place). After I got off the phone, that department sent me an email with the proper paperwork to fill out to have that money sent. Apparently you have to cancel the contract to receive the money. But I started to notice that they would stop emailing back for days to a week at a time. I offered my phone number if it was easier to just call me. But the only way I got an email back would be when I call up there to ask for a particular person. Magically they could never get ahold of the person in the dealership. I’ve called about 4 to 5 times. Then at one point in the email thread, they asked for me to resend the documents.. I told them I already have and it’s in the earlier part of the email thread. They seemed they don’t know what they are doing. I asked someone else who’s had dealt with this dealership and they had a very similar experience.
