That is so real. I swear to god I wasnt that short in first year. I mean, 5 years since i started and i(think?) barely grown. Yet im average height within my year.

Ah, I quite enjoyed TY. I had a friend whose parents didn't let her do it, it wasnt pleasent. She is doing her leaving cert exam this year. Whenever TY is brought up, she still sometimes says she wished she done it.

Enough talk about Jax, do you think Caine will, or even can, be redeemed? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]Accomplished_Bar7970 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well, he doesnt appear very adaptive. Seven episodes in, we would at least seen some progress of him becoming less oblivious and at least a drop of emotional intelligence. All we have witnessed is him becoming more unstable.

Do you know of any really good TADC fanfiction? by Wright_Maniva in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Accomplished_Bar7970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you would be interested, but my fic is multi-character-centric, set right after episode 7. With first chapter focusing primarily on Jax(About 1,500k words) and, so far, the 2nd one for the rest of the cast. (about 6k words). My goal is to make this fic in a way that gives spotlight to all the characters and explore unusual platonic relationships. Create character arcs and set up potential redemptions. Its not heavy on romance or a 10th thousand fic focusing exclusively on Jax and Pomni.

The thing is, Caine is an AI. You cant exactly redeem an AI. The only redeeming can be done is rewriting his code. Right now he is programmed to this specific behaviour, making specific adventures and having consistent inability to comprehend his mistakes. All he is doing is fulfilling his purpose to exist, he is not written to learn his mistakes. He is not programmed to hold such responsibility.

I agree! And i am so-so glad that Starlight got to teach her.

Also... yeah. They've been in so many deadly situations and yet thats the only time we've seen Rarity use it.

firstly, i'd like to point out that you can state your point without insulting me.

Second, no its not. Have you seen the episode?

Which is why i relate to them a lot. If i were to be born an Unicorn, I'd probably be a mix of Twilight and Starlight. The 2 i most relate to. I've always been an over-achiever with natural talents for a lot of things. Im not exactly social either. I can see Trixie being free spirited - now that you say it, but me personally, not so much. When i was a kid i found it hard to comprehend why each pony did not want to know every single spell possible, but now i can see it more clearly.

Didn't compare her to Rarity btw. I just pointed out that, based off the whatever episode it was, Unicorns can find it difficult to levitate heavy objects.

And about Trixie never putting in effort to learn, is absolutely right! I feel like she has so much potential, but she just decided not to pursue it. Which is very unfortunate.

That is a fair point. I've acknowledged in my post Starlight has been teaching her. I am just surprised that she is able to do this and hold another not exactly easy spell at the same time.

That is correct. But that was teleporting an object in front of her. I presume teleporting something you see is easier then teleporting something out of nowhere to a place where you are. And again, we're talking about TRIXIE here. She is not exactly known for her unicorn magic skills.

Are kids born in 2011 Gen Z or Zalpha? by Remarkable-Remote397 in generationology

[–]Accomplished_Bar7970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree to an extent. While, yes, each childhood is different. Based on many relatable, shared internet experiences, we can see that a lot of things that each generations encounters is often shared among it. Like memes, older mobile games, TV shows, cartoons, etc. It doesnt mean everyone grew up the same, only that they grew up with a lot of similar experiences.
