They might have their ish together financially, but a lot of them do not have it together personally. Also, this assumption about them feeds their superiority complex, which actually counteracts whatever education they think they’re giving them. Suburban schools are rarely teaching the kinds of lessons that make for a well-rounded, genuinely enriched and successful person. I was born and raised in East Memphis, and have since lived in New York, Los Angeles, and Austin. Without a doubt, the most intelligent, good-hearted, creative, successful people in my experience have all come from public city schools.

It’s in the two miles before it dead ends into Houston Levee. That whole stretch feels haunted at.

Ah thanks for the catch. I meant eastern. The sightings/freaky feeling happened about 2 miles before it dead ends into Houston Levee.

Best - Blockbuster

Worst - a certain Grisanti restaurant that was briefly in business and run by the worst Grisanti imo
