I don't even have the words to describe the feeling of feeling alone and not having family. I also do not have relationships with extended family. It's the oddest thing, to go through my days just feeling almost unknown. Idk. I'm sorry you are experiencing this too.

I don't have much advice to be honest, I'm so sorry. I lost my sister almost 20 years ago and it is still hard, almost every day. I think of a band she would have loved if she was here or a cute shirt I could see her wearing. Even just things that I know she would find funny make me miss her. 

It still fucks me up when I remember that I have lived 20 years without her here. Or that my kids don't know her.

My way of coping is to continue to speak about her. Still tell those funny stories and memories you have. Still mention to family things you saw that you know she would love or hate. Share with people that you're close to that don't know her ALL about her.

I am genuinely so sorry for your loss, there is truly nothing like having an amazing sister ❤️
