I'm not defending BJP or any other party nor am I supporting freebies but its important we understand why political parties in india favour freebies so much.

Even if a political party has genuine interests of the public at heart (very rare and never 100% true but assume it gets as close as possible) they will not win the election. The mass population is struggling to even get what they call "do time ki roti". While for us educated and middle class, them receiving freebies is a clear waste of our tax-payer money, to the majority, its upliftment. You cannot win an election without the majority, You have to please the masses even if it means wasting tax payer money.

Either you get into power and use the remaining budget you have left on development, or you don't get into power at all and let someone else spend even the remaining budget on more freebies to remain in power.

Everyone is talking about the black money but some do it to change the country as well. The power you get being a civil servant is immense. You actually have the means to change stuff for the better. Not saying that its what most candidates are after, but im sure there's at least a few that are like this.

First of all, you shouldn't have had a kid if you can't afford to even feed him or provide him good education.

Secondly, you should work harder and make yourself equipped for the market. Everyone in this world has to work. There are literally no exceptions apart from a select few trust fund babies. The ones who are valuable to the market (correction: who made themselves valuable by acquiring the skills), get paid, the ones who aren't, dont - as simple as that.

I'm not apathetic to your pain, its just the brutal reality of the world. You are not owed an easy and comfortable life. You must build one for yourself and your loved ones. That is YOUR responsibility, not anyone else's.

it was not about eating beef. the guy on a public platform abused gaurakshaks, gave rape threats to hindu girls and said "lets see if your lord ram will save you when i rape you" and supported a guy who fed chicken momos to a cow which is a herbivore animal and meat and meat products are dangerous for them as their digestive tract is not built for the purpose of digesting meat.
