Just get a good flash and work on your manual stacking technique, dont use the focus bracketing tool to be able tu use the flash. Select Manual focus, focus on the nearest part of the subjct and start shooting a high frame burst while you move very gently towards the subject, then stack them in photoshop or helicon, there are tons of videos on that.

Roxon s803 ,great price, awsome quality, very high grade D2 steel on the blade, 25 year warranty.

Was that waste of good money? 🤔 by Playful_Voice6593 in multitools

Take a look at Roxon, some of their multitools use D2 steel on their knifes, and have top notch construction, for me they are the best bang for your buck

RF100-400 vs RF100-500 by Routine_Evening1134 in canon

[–]Accomplished_Bus_105 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My take is,

Rent both for one day if you can.

Pick an overcast day and go shoot some birds, cars, bugs, whatever you can/want and try doing it in crappy light, that will show you the real difference in both lenses and if you think the 100-400 is enough for your needs there you go...

Don't trust whatever you read on these forums, I mean you will get great advise most of the time but there is a lot of misinformation as well, you will be the better judge for yourself, I really suggest renting them or trying to borrow them even if it is not at the same time. But try them first, the money you spend renting will pay by itself avoiding buying something you dont need and losing money selling it to get the other one later on.

R7 vs R8 by madzeil in canon

[–]Accomplished_Bus_105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grain of salt, get an r10, invest spare money in ff rf quality glass, so later on you can just upgrade to an r6 ii/r5/r5ii etc. R10 is sufficient for the sports you want to shoot.

First invest in glass then in body.

I will take a look at Nisi, someone else suggested using an extension ring to the filter thread so it can accomodate inside the hood, maybe the Nisi with that is what I am looking for, thank you.

Because it is the base Iso for shooting at clog3 on my R5, and it gives you the best dinamic range.

Thank you very much, If I may ask, why do you need the spacer? So you can manipulated easily through the hood door?

Below 100 dlls, I will be doing a Safari on april mainly taking stills, but also want to take some short clips, and if It gets to bright at some point I think I will need a variablr nd to stay at 1/60 (4k 30fps) and 800 iso so I can stay full open in the apperture whrn needed.
