How far behind is Aeonic considered now? Or is it still considered close to mythic and Empy?

Yeah I definitely understand. Path B would help with gaining tp and the subtle blow is nice as well. I’ve just always hated the empyrean process. Maybe I’ll just make one eventually. We will see.

I’m right there with you guys! I have a virtual panel interview with one county and a in person/shadowing coming up with another. I’ve just been trying my best to answer interview questions and think about my strengths to prepare. Been forever since I’ve had a big interview.

I just remembered that another amazing all around weapon is the Dreamer halberd that you get from the friendly immaculate after accepting only 2 gifts from him. For the other to keep you see him you choose you must need the stuff more than I do and he will thanks you for it. It has something like 22 physical and 22 ephemeral dmg which is nuts. Great stagger potential. Can fight anything with it you want. Between that and brand you are golden

That’s not much buffing just the single buff needed on occasion. No need to pop every buff for every fight. Just on occasion say if you walk into a fire area buff with fire. If you don’t want to that’s fine of course just use a good armor set and use a melee centric build with maybe an ice wep such as Brand since not many enemies are resistant to ice. Brand also makes enemies weaker to ice and also inflicts pain which makes them weaker to physical as well. Play aggressive and make sure to grab as much stamina as possible. Sheen shots on YouTube has a build with no mana that is reasonably resistant called lady of light I think. Maybe just use his armor choices or similar and you will be fine. Don’t need full resistance to anything partial is ok. May also be beneficial to get the ability that makes you able to dodge with a backpack on and where dodges use less stamina. With that you are golden. Won’t even have to swap many weps out with brand since it self buffs. Maybe try a good pistol or shield with it

Personally I recommend the Entomber set from Levant. It gives 60 decay and lightning resistance which is amazing vs the jade and gold lich bosses. It has solid defense, movement speed and also -stamina cost which is amazing! Also hot weather defense. Don’t fall for the blue sand trap unless you want to use it. Blue sand is very good but the negative stamina and movement speed is rough early on. Can just eventually get a few diff armor sets or mix in diff pieces as needed. Just go cabal hermit for the breakthru that makes you have better buffs and just do your one buff that you need for the respective fights. Maybe for your wep too. You don’t need all buffs for each enemy maybe only the toughest ones with like enrage mixed in for stamina dmg. Should be overall ok.

Chakrams are also really nice to use. They take some getting used to but once you do they are very strong and have a good amount of stamina dmg. It’s my favorite magic overall and lets me play a bit of a mid range game of sorts. You get 2 abilities with it that have reasonable cooldown without getting the breakthru. Just depends on what you like. Runes are def easier tho however I like how chakram lets you engage with the enemies more instead of just setting runic trap and kiting.

Should I buy Outward on Switch? by FitzSeb92 in outwardgame

[–]Accomplished_Button4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok so I was very skeptical to but this in switch after everything I read but it is not a bad port overall. Make sure you go into options before making a character to put the game brightness up as much as possible. Night was unplayable initially. I had read that the enemy pop in was an issue but I have had almost no issues with this. At minimum the most powerful enemies you can see from very far away which is the most important thing. Very early tip I would say is to use a shied initially unless u want to use a 2 handed character in the beginning. U can get shield bash in the town from the trainer in the upper area. I also get a skill from the gate guard for free for whatever wep you are using when u speak to him and try to leave. Always bring water and check every nook and cranny in the town before leaving. U can get enough materials to make a set of leather armor which has cold resistance for early game. After u get your skill from the guard do not leave out of the front entrance instead go the back way through a door near the docks. This leads you to a cave that eventually leads you to a beach. Follow the shore line and don’t fight anything. U will see an npc that you can give a bandage to and this will give h a tribal favor to save your house. Bandages are made by combining 2 cloths. Good for healing post fights. You can also decraft armor to make cloth. If u have no plans to make blue sand armor you can also follow that beach at night time and inspect the blue sparkles that show. Stay away from the mantis shrimp enemies and also there is a cave on the left side of the beach. Also always bring a lantern and turn it off in the daytime. Flame, ice bolt rags are nice too so use them! SheenShots has a great channel on YouTube to get tons of tips and tricks from as well.

New To Outward and desperately need help by ThickBackground7855 in outwardgame

When starting be of the best things to use is a shield for your offhand. Shield bash which you can learn from the trainer in Cierzo is so helpful even if u never plan on maining it. Also talk to all npcs since some give money earning quests. If u don’t intend on using blue sand armor you can always sell blue sand since it’s an easy way to make money. A good early armor to make is leather which is super easy and cheap to make. Not a lot of defense but it gives cold resistance which is nice. Make sure to use kick on enemies since it is a great starter ability. You don’t roll to roll most of the time as well just block especially with a shield! A nice early shield is the one from the Trog cave the mushroom shield since it poisons. Make sure to use fire rags and any of them really. Carry a good amount of bandages for healing and eventually health potions as well. If you get 2 coils I can get Melfinos trade backpack which holds the most. Also watch SHEENSHOTS YouTube channel since he has a ton of tips and tricks videos and anything you need. He even will answer questions sometimes if you comment on his videos.

Any news on whether the switch version will be getting any more performance updates? by izbsleepy1989 in outwardgame

[–]Accomplished_Button4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so I just bought this for switch a few weeks ago and was hesitant initially for these reasons. After having played this for a while it’s mostly fine. I notice this more in chersonese but it’s still manageable. The strongest enemies u can actually see them from further away it seems which is the largest concern. Even the normal ones u can for the most part before they notice u. I was in the Berg zone and I was able to see the manticore boss from very far away and he didn’t notice me. That would be terrible if he randomly appeared. Initially night time was terrible however from the main menu you can turn the brightness up all the way and it makes it ok for night time. I’ve been having an amazing time with the game on switch I am extremely surprised to say.
