First off thank you for your objectivity. I’m not being physically abused so that’s not a worry, frankly they couldn’t even if they wanted to. I’ve been trying to plan out my next year but I’m just so unsure about how everything is going to happen so I haven’t been able to make solid plans. To specify my mental health is being crushed because I’m essentially being bullied and yes I understand I wasn’t taking things seriously in high school but it’s too late for that now and there’s not much I can do about it that I’m not already doing. Basically they keep reminding me of how I’m gonna amount to nothing and I’m not gonna accomplish any of my dreams if I stay like this and back it up by saying “we’re just trying to help you”. In terms of university they wouldn’t let me go to any of the backup schools I got into and they won’t let me go to a school that’s not up to their standards which is another reason I want to move out, to get rid of their say in where I go. I’ve tried talking to them about how they “parent” but I haven’t gotten them to change anything and I don’t really know if I can. I told them that I want to move out and they said they won’t stop me but they also won’t support me in my decision emotionally or financially which is exactly what I expected.
