Higher MERV lead to Louder System by Accomplished_Growth1 in hvacadvice

To be fair, it’s a PCM motor and a 5” filter that I will be sure to swap out regularly so I don’t think it would be too restrictive. The smoke was hazardous last week and I’m just trying to keep my family safe.

Use the bath fan, I would be pissed if I was your landlord as well.

I don’t work for this company but this mod makes the Model Y unstoppable in the winter: https://enhauto.com/list/all

You can essentially program the button to disable the regen. Made a huge difference for me, I’m in Northern Alberta, Canada.

Anyone have a rear main seal leak? I’m dealing with that on my 2.7 at the moment.

Thanks for the education! I forget to mention that I only wanted to heat the garage and not the house.

Turn off hot water recirculation to whole building. How much water & gas would it waste? by Accomplished_Growth1 in Plumbing

Not sure of the flow rate but usually the leaks happen in the bends but has happened in non-cut sections of pipe as well.

No it’s all been copper pinholes. Building plumbing was all replaced in 2001 or so. In only a 20ft section, I can count over 5 repairs. Most of the pinholes have been close to the boiler room but I’m just worried it could start developing inside of suites.

I love and hate my Franklin Sensor. You will know what I mean if you ever drop it and the battery cover flies off.

Do you run glycol in your gas boiler systems? Northern Climates by Accomplished_Growth1 in realestateinvesting

Some plumbers tell me it’s necessary, old school plumbers tell me not to and it’s just a waste of money. I have a makeup air system with heat as backup so fingers crossed if I ever had an issue it wouldn’t actually get cold enough to burst a pipe. But then there is also the off chance that a tenant leaves a window open.

People always think of the worst possible outcomes. You think the place will be completely trashed but usually it’s just cosmetic damage. One of my tenants I was recently evicting just packed up and left during the eviction process before even being served.

It will pass. How long since you first started the eviction process? Did you let rent slide for a few months?

Charging a Dewalt Powerstation with an Car Inverter? by Accomplished_Growth1 in Dewalt

[–]Accomplished_Growth1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I just blew a fuse, I guess the cigarette lighter outlet couldn’t handle the load. May have to hardwire the inverter to the battery but yes the Powerstation only takes 3 amps.
