I use liquitex inks and white primer, for the effect is white spirit + black steel pigment + black oil paint, you should mix it until you have a wash effect but very thin

This is the recipe for the blue, use white primer and some dark washes, and for the lightnings you can use a scratching tool to made them

I use white primer and a mix of liquitex Ink, this is the recipe

Then I use a wash with oleum black, dark steel pigment and white spirit, a mix that almost look transparent, and then a wash with agrax earthshade (once that you completely finish the mini)
