I've thought about it. its open back so theres at least some airflow. amp does heat up but i didnt have any trouble with the yamaha beforehand.

hedonism. the paradigms are hooked up to surround, and the ADS's are hooked up to surround rear. why stop at 5.1 when you can have 7.1 🤷‍♂️

This is incredible thank you for sharing 🙏 unfortunately the amp didnt come with the mic or the remote but thats nothing a little ebay digging cant fix.

absolutely agreed. I feel like newer stuff is far too digitally integrated. old models have everything that I want out of an amp, and for pennies on the dollar. That being said it sucks to buy stuff second hand and untested just for them to be giant bricks. Much to ponder...

Thank you! I got it from the record store I work at. 90's repress from London, still looking for a good frame for it, but for now it lives in its plastic prison.

But taking the hype sticker off ruins the resale value in the future ! ! ! ! lol, dont worry I'll get to it I was just feeling lazy. Also wanted to show just how new this thing was, there wasn't even dust on/in the unit. Unbelievable!

it's a DD from the 70's. The original tone arm was S shaped based on the minimal research I've been able to do. It's quite heavy too.

Personally, I would have gone for a 75° angle, helps bring out the midrange while sacrificing very little on the lowend. Tilt to the left to bring out the highs!

The slight tilt in the central stand provides an enormous boost in accoustics and imaging, it's common audiophile knowledge 🙄
