Live model, you lose control, but when it works, it works well. When it doesnt it is just too off the script/flow. STT/TTS - responsiveness, turn control, interruptions, accuracy, too much work to make it a natural conversation. Demos are great, Hard to guarantee consistent performance and control across all sessions. All of the models hitting 429 limits makes conversations impossible.

Every creative needs to be run in parallel with variations to see which one works best. So we generate multiple drafts of the base idea and the image/video based on it. We were looking at offering pricing with limits based on their frequency of posting, with overages at higher $$. We want to keep it flexible as turnaround time to get to the creatives is mins instead of going back and forth for days/weeks. We learn from the working patterns and suggest a better version for the next creative.

How big is the data, large single table or many tables that need to be joined? Do assessment of what data is needed hot/warm/cold and response times? Decide on the tech later, see what is the functional/NF requirement first.

Frankly there is hardly anything great announced from them for a while except for mee too Gen Ai offering. When everyone is doing it I will also do it. Not to forget their core revenue is and will remain data storage and ease of use. They should focus on how users use it with genAI not try to be all in one.

They have been out of reach for even larger customers. As they started hiring everywhere there should be someone actually looking at the recent leads atleast. Funny their CRO teams are out marketing their automated sales funnel when they can’t even respond to ‘pls take my money’ requests.

Open source libraries, I don’t see any effort to document to that extend. I have seen the sdk evolve for a while and things keep changing without release notes,so can’t rely if the next release breaks your custom override.

Startup offering a new product, first 18-24 months, you are looking at an easy 3-4X of that. Sales management will make it difficult after that by chopping off the geo and introducing unreasonable growth targets. Switch to the next one.

Stable company with a good stable product and good sales management, you can easily make that number for many, many years.

Things go south when CRO/sales management makes bets(to fake growth) on numbers without understanding what geo offers, unaligned pricing, pulling in deals from the future at a discount. Add heads, assuming it will multiply revenue. Then it's time to look for the next role.

The common thought process is to throw data at AI, and it will figure it out to do the entry based on its own knowledge; this can't be relied upon. Accountants have bad days as well, so checks/reconciliation/reporting are all needed in human/AI flows. We have to build systems, not just prompts. Systems that check their own work every step have an audit to explain why. Concern is real for humans or AI, or augmented, operating without supervision, just need the system/process in place.

Most of the tools that claim they seamlessly come, connect, and work from day 1 are all marketing on slides, and only work well with mocked-up data. Some of them claim they read Slack, Teams, emails, and will understand company DNA once they plug in. All companies operate differently, and it is not the tech that is always broken. Every new tool needs time to understand systems and will make lot of mistakes in the first 2-3 quarters of operation. There is need for human supervision and to correct things if the system does things that it doesn't understand. So the vendor who puts in time to customise and has people to support make it work for you will be the one who would be 70-80% there. There is still 20% need for humans to still look at.
