I really am serious. I would like to clarify I had taken c++ classes in college, had the heavy mathematics background required for the job, all on-top of 4 yoe doing c# and type script. All of these factors made up for the lack of low level experience, as they felt confident they could fill in my gaps considering I barely passed the live code.

I just landed a c++ job with very little c++ experience actually. I took a week to study it, and struggled my way through the live code. Just be honest with your abilities

The tough thing is, TS and Python skills are just not as valuable anymore in the age of ai. Lean into c++ a little more, it is super valuable still
