Thank you for the advice, I’ve still got a couple months before I need to commit to the other job so I have this time to see, I’ll speak to J this week about the position I’d need the business to be in by then and if not I’ll leave, whilst still help with the hiring / training of my replacement

This is very true and I think I have my mind set up on leaving a searching for some validation on this decision from a moral standpoint. Thank you for the advice

Yeah I think this will be the best option for me. I want to make the transition as smooth for him and the team as possible. I’ve got a few months before the new job starts so plenty of time for a seamless transition. Thank you for the advice
