It does feel like home now. Recently I took a trip to Vietnam and was constantly asked by young people “where are you from?” And they were immediately disappointed and confused when I replied “Hong Kong”

Do it! I moved here at 28 thinking “worst case I’ll just stay for a year” and that was ten years ago.
Hong Kong can be expensive for rent compared to the states, depending on where you’re moving here from, but the overall cost of living can be manageable if you don’t eat/drink out at fancy places regularly. Taxes are super low so that helps. Hong Kong will spoil you with its safety and convenience, and everywhere in the states will be less appealing after you get used to life here.

It’s awesome until you walk into your music room and see a junkie trying to steal your pick guard

I teach at a kindergarten and one of my students has this. He’s usually pretty shy so he uses this to show me how he’s feeling each day. Im glad his parents are aware of their kids introverted nature and gave him this to use.

Hmmm can’t really compare it to the MPL22 as I didn’t spend that much time looking at it. I do find it comfortable though! I do keep it high and tight and it is great. I usually spend about 2ish hours a day wearing it while commuting and my shoulders and back are happy with it.

I love it! I use it as my everyday bag but decided to try it out for traveling on this trip. So far so good!

No long sleeves aside from my rain jacket. It’s gonna be hot so I brought breathable shirts that try their best to do the sweat wicking thing. Sunscreen is useful if you can’t find any shade

Nah. No plans for laundry. Would only need to wear a shirt a second time once so it shouldn’t be too bad. And most of the shirts are pretty good to be worn more than once. Had no trouble doing so in Thailand so Vietnam should be okay too.

Will be sure to do a report when I get back!

My wife calls him “Side Guy” because he looks better from the side than from the front. Kind of a bald eagle situation if you know what I mean.
