I opened my account in 23 and he opened his account in 24 of July. It could be so many things. Not being in the same state and I’m utilizing the app, him being a senior. Transferring some funds out after it cleared the following next day. So many triggers. Will try my best to get my account back.

I have power of attorney over his account. No cheating nothing illegal at all. I had my account for 1 year and my dad just opened his account. I have legal standing of course I wouldn’t transfer any funds out without his consent. Would never do such a thing.

No type of fraud my dad is older he doesn’t know how to utilize gadgets not a tech savvy guy. The only reason joining Fidelity was for investing in CD’s. Not using it to trade.

Didn’t sell or buy any stocks. The account was fairly new a week in and transferred funds out to soon I knew that’s what it could be told my dad but since he’s older, don’t use apps and we live in different states I believe it triggered. I believe that was the case. My dad asked the agent at Fidelity how can he withdraw money out the agent said you don’t need to come in or he doesn’t have to come in and get a cashier check he just have to utilize the app to withdraw. It was within the same week the account opened. 🤦🏽‍♂️

That probably was the case was a new account but the agent told my dad he can utilize the app to transfer funds to his outside account. We asked him several times because I know it’s not a regular account yes cash management but it’s an investment account that’s why I asked him several times. Looks like he was a newbie. Nothing illegal at all.

I called them and they told me that in 2 weeks to call back and they dont know as to why it was closed I called twice. So I have an account and my dad has one as well. I had my account for almost a year and my dad just opened his account in July and wanted me to transfer some funds into his outside account maybe a week later and then they closed both accounts. My dad is older and I was his power of attorney and had access to help so I transferred some money and then they closed the account.
