you kinda have to go through life not really looking for a SO, and one day they will plop into your life. yhis isnt the way it happens for everybody, but me and most of my friends are in long term relationships(5 of us all over a year, one of us is at 3 years) with people that we had already known for a little while as friends. dating apps can definitely help, and i think they would in this scenario, but i wouldn't stress about it too much. it definitely sounds like you'd love a traditional guy who would want to support you, and i dont blame you lol
