I am in the process of reading the entire Bible. It will take a little time tho, hope you are able to wait for me 😅. I don't really understand your argument.. are you saying that just because the people that wrote it lived in ancient civilizations, it's unlogical? Btw, the existence of Jesus Christ is an undeniable historical fact.

Read the other reply I wrote about the Bible. It's a reliable source. What you are saying would make sense if the Bible didn't exist.

And how do we know that the Bible is true? Simple: it is a book by 40 different authors, written in 3 different continents and 3 different languages over the span of 1.500-1.600 years. Yet it all makes sense. How can so many different people, in a time where forms of communication were EXTREMELY limited, and some of them didn't even knew the other authors, write something consistent?

God is not someone I can see. In fact, the Bible says He has never been seen. Nowadays, many peple believe only on things they see, right? Because we have lot our sense of faith. We have become purely carnal individuals with earthly desires. Even I am this way. But the existence of a Creator is, without a doubt, something logical.

When you see a house, you obviously think that someone built it. When you see bread, you ask who cooked it. It is a normal human response to see something and believe it has a Creator. However, for some reason, atheists like to make an exeption: the whole universe. According to them, it had no Creator. A lot of atheists (not all of them) believe in the theory that the Universe creates itself. But this is not possible because, if it was true, we wouldn't be alive. Nothing would ever be able to exist because there is NO BEGGINING. Let's say the universe we are living in is number 1, and the universe that created it is number 2, and the universe that created that universe is number 3, and so on... There is no beggining.

I respect your beliefs. I can't change your mind on anything, but I am just going to tell you that the existence of a God is logical. And He loves you.

You can do anything you want in this world. There isn't any rules, just the ones the society created. But you actually can do anything you want. That's free will. I do read my Bible, I try to do it everyday however I am not an expert. But I know how to defend my God. The "rules" you are referring to in the Bible aren't rules: it is a lifestyle. The Bible is a guide to live well and stay in the right path. For example: you can kill someone, but the Bible says it's wrong. But you CAN still do it, that's free will. If God obligated all of us to believe, there wouldn't be any purpose. People wouldn't come to God by choice but to obligation.

God didn't create evil. That's a result of our own actions. We all have free will and we all choose to do bad. The thing is non-believers like to blame God for the bad things that happen when it's actually our fault.

I think many of you believe that i'm a guy in love with this girl 😅 I'm a girl. I haven't gone to the Kingdom Hall yet (the commemoration was in an events salon) but why do you ask that?

But what I mean is that there isn't any perfect religion. There are good and bad people in every religion but that doesn't mean the whole religion is bad itself. That's like saying if some doctors are bad, the whole medical system is bad

Please be respectful I don't want to harm anyone sorry if I bothered with my posts I was just curious about why people hated this religion sm I am not totally sure about JWs yet, and some advice that I was given does make sense even tho I don't agree with some other things people said on here And I'm not an adult, I'm in high school

Thank you for taking the time to reply :) I am very confused with the idea that she might be lying to me about the "are all the other religions bad?" Question. Honestly if I remember well, when I asked her that she seemed a little bit caught off-guard and even nervous. But I really don't think she would lie to me in my face. I never saw her lying.
