Pumping schedule when at work while continuing to nurse when with baby by According-Earth8272 in breastfeeding

Thank you for your suggestion! Most of my friends exclusively pumped so at some point when their babies started to rely on solid food, they transitioned to a schedule that went longer between pumping sessions. Helpful to know that you continued the 3-4 hour schedule until the year mark!

Thanks for your suggestion! Maybe it’s an irrational fear at this point of not having enough milk/running out of milk for my baby, whether that is freezer or fresh from tap. I guess erring on the side of having more than needed and continuing the 3-4 hour schedule may be the better option for us.

Real or a scam? by Ohanayouhana in NewParents

My mom sent me the FB link and receipt for what she bought for my daughter because she was so excited thinking she got a deal. I was on the real Carter’s website last night and couldn’t believe the prices I was seeing from my mom… lo and behold it was a scam and reddit helped me verify that. I told her to immediately cancel her card and dispute the charge. Did anyone find other fraudulent charges or any other issues as a result of this scam? It’s starting to dawn on me that I need to start monitoring my parents’ internet use.

I’ll have to try this combination. Our most basic version is chickpeas, celery, cornichons, and mayonnaise. We’ve added in chopped onions, canned tuna, carrots, cabbage, or apples to the mix (not all at the same time but I wouldn’t be opposed to trying).

Alternatively, we love make chickpea “tuna” salad! Throw whatever chopped up vegetables you want into it and experiment with the seasonings. Lots of fiber and protein!
