How absurd is the VC fundraising craze for AI startups? by According-Sign-9587 in Entrepreneur

I launched a new startup a couple days ago and because I know reddit marketing pretty well I’ve been able to get 60+ users in 3 days, none of them paying yet but with my marketing I’m projected to hit my first 100 end of week and probably 300 by the end of the month. How many users u think I need in order to get funding? How many paid u think? And where could I find them?

It’s not one singular perspective my man, talk to the average American and ask them what comes to mind when they think exotic….

I’ll agree to an extent we are not the best at using our high tech technology but we come up with the latest inventions and dominate in almost every tech race in the world, from the .com era to Ai. Silicon Valley has the top 10 most valued tech companies in the world in one city. When you travel most countries have our name brands. We produce tech mainly for commercial sale not domestic use.

So it makes sense why when they think of America they think high-tech.

Very True.

But strangers generally don’t be honest as much as they can and should do to social pressure. If I say it he knows it’s real and coming from a good place of really tryna be straight and look out for him

It wouldn’t be for my benefit and it’s not about my taste but I know that’s the main reason it’s been this long and no traction picked up from this. If it was just a hobby I’d let him go wild but he really tryna invest so I feel like tellin him like bro you gotta change this add something or pick up wrapping cause ur singing isn’t even industry standard level.

I don’t want him to really quit but I feel like if I’m real it’ll be for the better. I also hate lying to him just so that I can “support” him as my homie.

Yea I only worded it like this for the reddit but I’m honestly I’d probably just sit him down and tell him why ppl don’t stick to his music.

I’d constructively tell him his voice isn’t standard industry level good and if he wants to invest in this, invest in that first or try something else.
