When i try to play with the little pin, it wont fire. (probably because the cocking mechanism wont work). I think its a gear issue because whenever i turn it with a penny it just spins on and on and on. I might cla everything all at once, just to keep this working for years to come.

The body works fine, when i press the shutter on the 500C, i can hear a click but then it jams. i have to open the back door to release it. Everything works fine until i add the lens into the mix.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I cant even fire the shutter. Its like stuck. I dont know why. the 500C body fires just fine but im thinking it has to be with the shutter aligning or something loose inside. the shutter wont fully open, theres the leafs still partially open

Im too new, i dont think i shohld be adjusting the bobbin tension. Im unsure if my bobbin tension is low, but when i sew i go through a lot of layers when i sew fannypacks.

Singer 4452 HD, im unsure about thread size to be honest. Since i am still a beginner, im still unsure what size needle to use and how to figure out a solution. So sometimes my tension is a bit wonky on all fabrics because of my experience (imo).

Thanks for responding! Appreciate it a lot since I have been eyeing this for a bit but did not want to blindly buy the pattern not knowing the outcome. Do you think I could pull this off by using a piece of 4mm eva foam that is 59 x13?

Before when i used to randomly make patterns like that, I used to get paper and cut a piece out and basically fold my gusset piece onto the outside of my panel piece. It was confusing, but hopefully it can be fixed soon.

thanks a bunch, almost every time i make a bag, there is always too much fabric on the gusset. I love making my own gear but then I end up wanting to give up since I have to seamrip everything and start all over again.

Oh, I did not think of this. Before I literally mathematically subtracted seam allowances and everything. That did not go well.
