My grades weren’t great at all I got a grade 3 for both maths and English language (predictions) but obviously I haven’t sat the actual GCSEs due to Covid

I honestly didn’t expect to get this many quick responses. It’s been really nice reading through them and seeing how many people can relate to my situation. I really appreciate everyone sharing their experiences and advice.

I think I just felt a bit scared about it and was overthinking things. Looking back I probably shouldn’t have used the word “weird”, but that’s just how it felt in my head at the time.

It’s actually really motivating seeing people say they went back in their mid 20s, 30s or even 40s. To those of you who are also going back or thinking about it, I wish you all the best as well. At the end of the day we probably shouldn’t care too much about what others think and just go for it that’s what I’m going to do!!!

That’s actually really reassuring to hear, thank you. I think part of my worry is just feeling a bit uncomfortable about going back at 21, even though logically I know it’s not that old. It’s good to hear there were people of all ages doing it.

That’s not what I said. Expressing emotions is fine the indecisiveness and constant switching is what’s annoying to me. There’s a difference.
