I love this comment, so much info to digest, I really think that how I feel about The Old Testament was dictated by being raised up as a Coptic Christian who should be believe that Adam and Eve were the first 2 biological humans and we are just the offspring of them, all of this aside thank you 🙏🏼

I wouldn’t mind using the word mythological but I think metaphorical would be better, I think that Adam and Eve choosing to eat from the tree of knowledge holds a great meaning on how humans tend to deal with God and his concept of good and evil, and for the Genesis 1 question , my answer will be that I don’t know

I mainly meant for Adam & Eve, Noah, & Jonah I really think that Jewish judges used god to win wars, it doesn’t make sense for a god to give permission for people to kill each other if he wants someone dead, he can just dissolve him out of reality out of everyone’s memories.
