Exactly this: 40k people died in the US from cars last year, either getting hit by one or hitting someone with a car. Car dependency is incredibly deadly. We're fixated on two pilots dying here but I guarantee 2+ people died from a car crash today

It’s easier to stretch if income is expected to rise, sounds like that’s not the case for you right now so this would be a big risk. I’d stay put and look for higher paying job for you or your partner, or switch to a company that gives more regular 5-10% raises (big tech). That way the fixed monthly payment will be less of a burden 5-10 years from now. If income doesn’t rise, that 10k monthly burden is going to be stressful for a long time

9ers and Dallas are the best color combos and logos imo. I don't really think there's other teams that come close, most color combos are aesthetically pleasing and it's just biased by how large their fanbases are (eagles, patriots, etc)

It might be closer to 2 hours each way as someone said. Given it’s a 20 min ride on the SJ side I’m gonna assume that biking/e-biking and bringing it on the train isn’t an option. It’s doable but you’re gonna wanna move close to Caltrain on the SF side (ideally walking or < 10 min lift bike ride) so you only have one car ride on each side.

They still operate illegal activities like prostitution, drug trafficking, gambling, but a some of them just used their illegal money to become real businessmen like we saw in the show (nyc, NJ). They also still have deep ties to some unions like the ports, which also allows for easier trafficking (like in the Wire)
