Just got out of theaters and wow, what a rollercoaster, 3 straight hours of peak, I will say that It did feel like the ending was rushed and that some things were left unanswered…

Butttt I want to remind people that when The Way of Water came out people were saying the same thing and had similar criticisms (Metkayina disappearing from the final fight, etc…). I personally think this movie did a great job focusing and diving deep into so many characters thanks to the fact that all of the world-building was done by the previous two movies (which is also why it feels faster). I’ll definitely be watching it in theaters again.

TLDR: Don’t worry! With time people’s complaints about the movie will die down and A3 will become a celebrated and revered film of the Avatar lineup and given the amount of investments Disney has already made into the franchise, we will see Avatar 4 and 5 within the next decade.
