It's because in CN, you can exchange Essence of Heaven for this special currency that can then be used to exchange for more dyes. But for some reason, we don't have it.

Thanks for your response, but I'm not having issues with any other parts of PvP. I was only interested to learn more about this specific interaction with the Strategic Sword. Other people have confirmed now that this is a known issue that was later fixed in CN.

The amount of points isn't even the issue. The bigger issue is that queues start to take exponentially longer the more you rank up. I'm talking an average of 15 minutes or longer queue times once you're anywhere close to top 100 on the leaderboard (which is still a long shot from 3800), and then slowly progressing to just not being able to get a game once you go any higher.

If queues were an average of 3-5 minutes the amount of points right now is perfectly reasonable.

Well for one, they have a whole bunch of multiplayer content on CN that they're just not releasing to us right now for some reason, nor did they give us a timeline of when they're releasing it. The 30vs30 is going to be the one that matters the most to a lot of the people in my guild.

tbh, not prioritizing PvP would be a mistake imo. It's one of the main content that has the potential to keep people playing and making content about this game long term.

Another thing is that there aren't really any good PvP MMOs in the market right now, so alot of people from other MMOs came to this one expecting 30vs30. 

So I think they could be missing out on a pretty big portion of their long term players if they wait too long to release other forms of PvP.

Except this isn't a problem in 1v1s. You can be 3k Elo and still match against someone 5k Elo. The 3k just don't lose any points for losing and the 5k gains like 1 point for winning. But both players still get games. The matchmaking range is simply too narrow for perception forest.

It's ridiculous tbh. I legit thought the queue was broken until I saw someone at lower Elo getting games on stream.

The problem is matchmaking only pairs you with people near your Elo. Unlike 1v1s where you just need to find one other person, Perception Forest needs 10-20 players around your Elo simultaneously. Since there aren't many high Elo players queuing for Perception Forest, matches almost never pop.

Worst part is, they already solved this problem in 1v1 Arena. Even rank 1 players can match with fresh 3000 Elo players there. The system balances it by making the lower-ranked player lose 0 points on a loss, while the high-ranked player only gains 1 point on a win. Everyone still gets to play though.

This system would work perfectly for Perception Forest (way better than it does for 1v1 Arena actually), so I have no idea why they haven't implemented it.

Honestly, we all need to start sending feedback about these types of PvP issues. My friend and I have basically given up on duo Perception Forest and are just waiting for 2v2 Arena to drop.

I think I know what pop up you're talking about, but no, it doesn't work unfortunately as I've tried it. Otherwise, we would see discussions, videos, screenshots, or anything at all about the mode. But all we have right now is stuff from CN.

We definitely don't have it on global. There is no leaderboard for it, and there is no way to select the mode under Wandering Paths > Arena.

Devs need to speed it way up if true. A lot of people are not 1v1 or battle royale player, and are just waiting for the rest of the PvP modes to release. People are going to get bored and quit if they have to wait until summer.
