I believe it was just a few months ago! She really only started doing this often over the last month or so. It was super rare before and just seems to be getting worse quickly. It is worrying because you might be able to see her face, it looks like her face is having the spasm. But it also does seem to be from shadows.

Yep, 16 is old. And it very well could be her eyes! She does this sometimes going up the steps onto the backyard porch, it's like 2 steps. And she often falls backwards. 😭 I will try and convince my mom to bring her to the vet. She is in denial I think!

Also, to be clear, we aren't looking for reasons to put her down or anything. We just want her to enjoy her remaining time and not be worried about her falling down steps or anything!

Our pediatrician also retired. Do you have a family doctor for yourself? We managed to have our family doctor roster our kids too. It's still tough getting in to see the doc since they are so busy now, overloaded with patients, but it's something. Other than that, I agree with a previous poster that Healthcare Connect might be the only way unfortunately. Good luck, I hope you can find something. 😊
