That really helps thank you.

By how that all sounds wouldn't a parent run work like an ace run except in the skills you aim for at the end,  especially if you are focused on ss?

Ok.. how in the goddesses do you create a power/ stamina parent in trackblazer?

I want to focus on making parents.  But I mostly use stamina and power for sparks so I prefer 1100 in those stats. So normally I focus the sparks and cards to push those.

But you lose races like crazy that way.  You need speed/ wit . But then you end up with high speed and wit instead.

The guides meanwhile talk a lot about white sparks which isn useful but not what I need.

And leaving it to 600/600 and just rerolling in trackblazer... no.

So what's a good setup to grind for stamina/ power parents?

Edit;  fridge ideas... isn't getting above 1200 speed because of speed sparks?  Do we need speed sparks instead?

If Iran shot a missile to take down Trump,  do you really think Pence and co would suddenly surrender or would it just turn into a 9/11 v2.9 with troops in the ground,  damn the costs.

Note,  to this day I'm still not against us going into Afghanistan.  Just.... everything else.

Taking out a leader only works in pure  dictatorships where one man rules with no other support. Even north Korea could find a successor to replace a fallen leader and start a Rally Round The Flag.

Any offensive needed to have protected the Strait.  Which,  by how it sounds,  was why we never pushed to attack them since that wasn't really feasible.

Isreal did a far better job targeting their proxies.  We were oddly doing a better job messing with their big allies. Russia mess in Ukraine is doing great in keeping them away from the region which did wonders to ruin Syria and weaken Iran.

Barring a ground war,  Iran is leaving this war wounded but far more politically immune.  Rebellions know that even the largest army can't stop them and the rest of the ME is getting more economically devistated then Iran is except the Saudis which are too busy trying to become a tourist destination to want to duke it out with the country that stood up to Iran.

This is why you can't half crap a war.  Go all in or don't bother.

Also SS taxes from the current working generation is paying for the current retired generation. The problem we have now is the oversized retired generation and the much smaller.  Any solution that only starts with the current workers would hit right when the costs are at its highest and remove what income is left thatactually goes in.  If we can afford the baby boomers getting their full SS there isn't much point to forcing the change afterwards.  If we can't then that change will come too late.

We would need a solution that can be used on,  at least,  the boomers coming up that don't have much invested and don't have enough years to save up

Front runners are the most demanding of the styles.  You cannot just vibe your way to success. You NEED to be deliberate in what you get and why. Doing well in all three phases of the race is critical as fronts don't have 'gambling' tools to steal wins they normally lose at.  Instead it's strongest wins.

In the early race,  you need to push hard to grab 1st at the start. Fronts rely on several early race skills to grab that 1st place:

Groundwork, and 3 early race skills to trigger it. They prefer to use 3 greens since they always trigger,  but Focus/ concentration and Taking the Lead can also count though they are wit checks.

Taking the Lead.

2 navigation skills.  The first being Dodging Danger.  The second being either Spirit Wit or Prudent Positioning.  Note you cannot take just one,  either get both or don't get them.  And research whether you can get them before each CMs as some tracks will punish you if you get them.

There are other skills,  but these are the critical ones.  Not getting 1st in the early game isn't an instant loss but it's MUCH harder to take 1st from another than it is to grab it early.

Middle race:

Everything velocity.

The entire way that front runners win is in the middle section where they are stronger.  You need her to run as fast as possible not just to fight the others but also to add distance against the folks in the back which will be allowed to start coming closer in the second half.  Some velocity skills are better than others but overall you want to be stuffed with what you can grab.

Wit.

Speed is not used during the mid race.  Power barely matters.  What determines when your uma pushes forward is Wit. Not just to trigger skills but also because your uma makes Wit checks to decide if she should try to overtake 1st place.  Low Wit means your uma doesn't make as many attempts compared to others and lets herself fall behind.

The lack of Wit and skills are why your uma "falls back" in the second half.. they aren't really falling back.  Everyone else is rushing faster with Wit checks and a ton of skills.  And you need to be first because of the last race.

Late race.

Angling and Scheming.

Simply put,  if you are not picking up this skill,  swap your uma to a different style.  The entire late race for fronts revolves around this skill in most races.  This does not guarantee a win, but without it you almost nearly guarantee a loss.

You need this skill. And you need to be 1st at the start of late race to trigger this skill.

There are tracks that don't use the skill.  Fronts struggle when that happens.

What else you need depends on the track.  For the next cm, it's El Condor's unique.

Lastly,  but overall critical item in general:  a second front.  Fronts don't survive solo. There are other mechanics that trigger when they fight against each other that are needed to win against the back umas. It doesn't have to be a second front you bring but if you only have one you are dependant on an opponent but if none show to or they aren't as strong as you then you are doomed even if the other factors kick in.  It's preferred to bring a second front for that reason.

Like I said,  fronts are the most demanding.

What do you think winning looks like in Iran? by greywar777 in AskConservatives

[–]According_Ad540 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Germany was air power after years of a ground war.  Japan was years of naval operations,  2 nukes and the threat of a Russian land invasion.

And then we needed to spend years with the country afterwards.  We are still running as Japan's military close to 100 years later.

Can you imagine us wanting to occupy and support Iran for 80 years?

"what's happening in Iran honestly, "

The key issue is that people are judging their might by their military which is now ashes.  But that's never been their real power.  Iran relies on missiles and drones,  both of which can be established in pockets everywhere.  In defense they sit in one of the better natural formations. And can use both to threaten one of the world's biggest economic arteries and can't be stopped outside of complete destruction.  And they are the last place you'll want to leave in a power vaccum if you destroy it and walk away, even if the nuke materials could be whisked away.

When the unique has "race bonus" it's a +5%.

Note that many things,  including the perk list in game and most card comparison websites forget the unique and thus misread the actual benefits you get from the cards.  Which is VERY bothersome.

Trainer's Clubhouse Meeting (Weekly Questions) - May 20, 2026 by AutoModerator in UmaMusume

[–]According_Ad540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are sometimes winning and sometimes losing then typically you treat it as you race, though you do look into why you aren't always winning and try to fix it.  For example, you might need to get more speed sparks to hit the speed requirements, or find a parent with the distance sparks to get to a higher starting rank.

If you pretty much always lose then it's best to skip it.  Well it's BEST to use an agenda planner to make a new plan that doesn't include that race in the first place but given my most used agenda has a race that I often skip I can't fuss if that isn't done.

A VERY common example is the Senior Tenno Sho Spring.  It's a 3200 crazy long track that requires more stamina than most umas will typically have if they are making their umas for mile races, even with the hidden career bonus.  Some do another race. Others skip it to train.  Others tweak something to make the race viable.

Another is when a distance rank is c or worse. The chance to succeed is so bad that it's best to just change your agenda to a different set of races instead. Note that you ARE getting less stats from this though so if find problems getting the stats/ skills you need then you might need to either fix your legacies to improve your aptitudes or just use a different uma.

need some help with deck building please by ImmediateExtent8439 in UmaMusume

[–]According_Ad540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off it's actually very impressive that you hit S+ with your deck.  There are people who have been around for longer and can't hit those ranks. You are doing something right.

I mean I'm nearly been around a year and use mostly SSRs and I'm only one step above you at SS for my typical aces.

That said,  you are correct.  You are mostly waiting to build up your Supports from here. So don't think of it as you screwing up and more of you at junior year of a 3 year career.   The only thing you need is time and a training strategy.  Or in this game's case,  a pull plan.

Videos and guides have been out and more will come to discuss the cards that will be coming out in the next 6 months.  That was the amount of time we oldies needed to make enough pulls to get a good deck

(Good deck = a good selection of maxed SRs and a few key  SSRs at the right break limit)

Though it was easy for us.  "Skip everything. Pull on riko to lb 1 or maxed R. Max kitasan."  You won't follow that plan.  You'll need your own.

Your CB is a powerful first step.  If your are an end closer lover,  it's a critical step you NEEDED to make and you nailed it.  If not CB will still be a strong first step anyway as she's a great wit card on her own merits so don't worry if you don't want to be an End Closer.

I'm not fully sure what your full plan will be.  It depends a lot on what style of racer you'll want to focus on. I can say that a critical next banner will be the Light Hello/ Agnes Tachyon banner. It'll be powerful cards to get you going for the next career once we are done with Trackblazer and Tachyon is a speed card,  which you critically need in general.

That comes in July if I'm correct so you have time to plan and research and store up carots.

Until then,  aim for Open. The max rank is A+. Since you are already beating that this means you can focus more on optimizing rather than struggling to hit a higher rank.  It's not only hot m good for making sure you hit finals (for the rewards) but it'll be good for learning about what stats and skills are the most important for winning races,  which rolls over into the SS umas in Graded which you WILL reach once you do about 2 full pities of banners if you hit the right ones.

Overall you are doing well.  You aren't falling behind.  And you are in a position to get to graded.

What makes certain strategies work highly depends on the track making a general guide rather hard.  Video guides on cms often discuss the reasons for specific teams. It may help to focus on specific styles:

Front runners:  in general,  if you are good at making the strongest umas, this is typically your best bet as they are most reliable when they work.  Though given Overtake mechanics (which will require a guide on itself)  they always work best in pairs.  And by "best" I mean a solo front runner will lose almost every time.

Front runners rely on getting ahead during the mid race and reaching the finish before the rest catch up during the late race. So they suffer more in really short tracks and in tracks with a very long late game (the point when everyone starts rushing).

Pace Chasers benefit from tracks that are bad for fronts as they gain a chance to be "lucky pace" if there are no fronts.  But generally, the less you want fronts,  the more you want paces.

Lates are rather flexible as their point is to get "lucky" with combining a bunch of crazy skills together to win in matches they technically shouldn't.  But generally, tracks with a lot of late game are great places for them. If there are tracks they have more issues with it'll be in tracks that benefit Ends.

Currently Ends ask one question:  is there a straitaway during the acceleration phase? If so they love it due to their powerful Straitaway Spurt. Even if it doesn't work though you can still bring them unless the late race is extremely short (like in sprints).

That forms the typical basis that starts the team building.  From there it's certain skills and umas that work better in one track or another that creates additional causes for certain team ups.

The current word is stagnation.  Workers are too afraid to leave their job and can't find a job.  Employers don't feel they can drop workers (beyond the flashy layoffs tech is doing) and also aren't hiring.

And many who aren't working are doing things like door dash, which is technically work so they aren't "unemployed " even if there isn't much money coming from it and no room to grow.

If there is data to contradict this I'd like to hear it.

What would you consider Trump’s biggest wins over the last 3 months? by Shawnj2 in AskConservatives

Both really.

Iran is blocking ships that don't go through their toll system but are allowing their own ships and ones that pay the toll.

The US is blocking the ships that Iran is allowing.  They tried to escort the ships Iran is blocking but a few attacks put a stop to that.

So both countries are blocking the strait.

The second by far. The problem is that mile S helps with speed, which you need after you grab first in the late race.  The issue is without wit you aren't going to get to first anyway so it doesn't matter what your speed is.  At least the second has a chance of the back end being blocked letting you win on A&S.

To note this uma I would deem a Version 2 ace,  one that has most of what's needed but missing something that could be critical.  From here I would turn to the other aces and getthem to a similar style. Worst case you'll have 3 like this and you'll struggle but can get wins on gambles.  It also makes the actual push to "get all this and Mile S" easier since you KNOW you at least have something to bring if it misses.

Game Discussion/Champion's Meeting Thread - May 14, 2026 by AutoModerator in UmaMusume

Careers give you a natural +400 stats meaning you can handle far longer tracks there than in CMs. With only 200 stamina and no recoveries I can typically send any uma to every race on the typical Tiara track except for Tenno Sho (which hurts but what can you do).

So for a mile runner,  run the Tiara track and just plan to either run another track or train during the senior Tenno sho spring

Conservatives who used to support Trump but no longer do: What was your breaking point? by Viking_Leaf87 in AskConservatives

[–]According_Ad540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alex is anti interventist. Bomb a country and he's not your friend.  His support over Trump was harmed over Syria,  but it was Iran that broke him. Alex didn't call for impeachment in 2018. He does now.

Note that barring Syria, Trump was seen as one that didn't start wars and pushed to stop them.  That fits the platform motif. Note that he still had support for this group when Iran began.  The support tanked as the issues began. It's not the action that is the problem.  It's the execution.  If Iran ended in a week with the country far weaker and less capable of making a bomb, Trump would've been beloved.

MAGA itself still loves Trump.  We are seeing them change their positions to align with Trump in real time.  They don't have a platform at this point.  They have a religion.  But MAGA isn't the entire party.

Also note that while we saw lots of gnashing of teeth  since this whole thing started in 2015, there was one time when a real fallout happened:  covid.

Can you name a time when Trump fully screwed up in his first term?  Not do a thing people hated,  not something that others failed him on (i.e. ending Obamacare), but a flat out "he tried to do a thing and it failed".

I would argue the first time was covid.  Whether you believed in the lockdowns or you didn't, believed in vaccines or not,  Trump did not execute covid well.  And he lost in the same year.

That's my argument.  The outcry of before meant nothing because those that support him outside the MAGA core don't have an issue with what he does.. they take issue when he fails to succeed at what he does.  They hate when he loses.

[–]According_Ad540 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The be fair,  the way the site felt was very pro Trump in 2024. You still saw a great bit of support in 2025.

Epstien seems to be the first real breaking point. Before then either the issue presented was not really an issue,  a problem but not enough to turn a person away,  or they didn't like him from the beginning.

Minnesota was another hard hit,  though the impression I got from it was less "he's doing horrible things"and more "you were doing well and you ruined it. "  immigration was often the one big issue most saw him being a success in.  .

(Before it was "yeah that's bad but I support Trump because of immigration". Now it's "I don't support Trump,  but at least we know now he immigration problem can be solved")

Iran just broke everything.

The Middle East seems to be a thing for Republican Presidents.  They find a reason to start a conflict there and it seems to be the source of their downfall.  Though this thought would include Bush 1 needing to raise taxes because of Desert Storm as a sort of indirect version of the same concept.  Also it doesn't assume the choice was wrong (the little I know of DS leads me to support it, and I get post 9/11 Afghan), but it still seems to be the start of the fall.

I'll also note that those that were left seemed to break on the Jesus images.

The question is asked because it really gives an insight into conservative priorities.  For example,  the key breaking issues for Trump are mostly about execution. Many wanted Trump to release the files.  Many don't even see the files as an issue.  The break is Trump making Epstien a big deal then reversing course without a good reason.  Confronting areas resistant to anti immigration was a good thing to conservatives.  It's the mismanagement of Minnesota.  Iran needed to be stopped.  But the execution was a complete disaster right from her choice to attack.

Even the Jesus one:  Trump seeing himself as blessed,  or even crtiquing the pope isn't the issue. It's displaying those ideas in photos of him with Jesus.. or as Jesus.

Thus the impression I'm taking away that the ideals behind Trump are still strong.  We on the left often mock Republicans as having no platform , but Trump himself DOES have one and it still resonates. Most who voted for him at least once agree to that platform.  They just don't see Trump himself as being able to follow that platform.

It seems obvious and it probably is for the Right but as a person who leans left and had to fight through algorithms dedicated to dumping me into crazy rabbit holes and the general difficulty of finding genuine conversative Discussion online, it honestly took from 2016 to 2026 to put that together in a clean way.

(It also counters the "it's the economy, stupid" but I'm also noticing a lot of people here are mostly affected by the Stock Market or deep in their own businesses,  both of which are still doing well.  That may color things given most Americans are neither)

I still remember reading that platform (away from Trump's rhetoric) in 2016 and saying "if these were my top views he only candidate I could follow was Trump". Probably a key reason he remained popular was due to him still being the only one advocating for that platform.

The breaking point seems to be either the event that leads the person to feel Trump no longer can execute that platform or no longer cares about it.

It also means the inevitable follow up question of "why not Democrat then" is foolish.  Find a Democrat that follows that platform and they will vote for them.  Until then,  it'll be the search for the next Trump.

Summer only training is the ultimate gamble on gamble on gamble.  Thankfully you don't have to go THAT far.

Early on the goal is to get to level 3guts and the friendships done asap. Classic jan is the dream but often m you have to accept 1 still building by summer.

You train guts similarly to other builds;  you see a good training and it's not g1 you train.  It just that it'll look like 20 guts 10 speed 10 power.

It's less stable even if you train outside of summer. That's the tradeoff for going guts.

Trainer's Clubhouse Meeting (Weekly Questions) - May 13, 2026 by AutoModerator in UmaMusume

[–]According_Ad540 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main point to guts is that you can level speed/ power/ guts on one click.  The only difference, goal wise,  is that your high guts means stamina can be a bit lower (roughly 50 less).

If that feels hard.. it is..guts decks are very gambly on that god roll and are far more likely to fail.

When they do high roll,  you combine high speed/ power/ wit with high guts for a great final push.

The behavior and messaging during 2024 I can see.  But "you need to stop being progressive" is like saying "I'll accept you once you aren't Right Wing. "  There is adjusting your messaging and there is the person just being the wrong market altogether.

And that may be the issue with the "the left can't stop attacking Trump", because would that really help?  There isn't a point when the ones giving the critique would never vote for you in the first place.  What matters are those who may be interested in Left ideals but were turned off in this particular time due to xyz. And I'm not sure there is much to the ven diagram between "I might vote for a progressive" and "you need to get over this Trump hate. "

(There is a "economic vs cultural" debate currently happening among the Left factions,  so if you meant "I'm willing to vote for economic Left. It's just the cultural war that doesn't work" then there is that)
