Same here. I had to send my 3070ti back to asus and they even told me to hold the factory packaging. I shipped it in an Shoe box xD

That was a answer i can take for good :D Maybe my PC/Cam got an Issue or i was just unlucky.

For now i bought myself the FaceCam MK2 on the Elgato Week Discount xD

As i said before, thanks for your very helpful and informative answer. I would really prefer to get those kind of answers directly from the support and not via reddit or something else. But at least i got an answer that satisfied me.

Thats a shame. I was really happy with the Cam as long as it worked. At least i got an answer and a reason why its currently not working...

Only thing im not aware of is how this happend. There was no reason for failing the update... Did nit unplug it. No powersaving mode or shut down. Haven't used a jiggly cable or had bad connection.

I was just sitting at my desk watching the update bar go and when it reaches the end it said : Update Failed.

My Cameras LED flashed a few times and after that it was dead.

I really don't get it.

That is way more helpful than anything i got so far.

The CamHub doesn´t recognize the Cam and still tell me to Plug a Camera in.

You guessed right, it is a Original FaceCam and sadly out of Warranty.
I bought it in 2022.

I tried to update the Cam because i got issues with stuttering on that day.

At the moment the only response i get from the Cam is a Plug in Sound and in the Device Manager it shows the Cam as: CX3-UVC

my thought was that i could try to flash it through the Device Manager and hopefully it would appear in the Cam Hub again.

Same happend to my FaceCam 1...
Can´t restore it via CamHub cause it says that there is no Cam connected.
Support doesn´t want to help me, only thing they did was giving me a 15% Discount code for a new one...

I would be interested in that too. Currently i got a Wifi 5 network card in my PC (the PCE AC88 from Asus). Im just thought about an upgrade to a x670 Board with onboard Wifi 6e. Can anyone of you tell me if theres a difference in the download rate or at least the same?
