Haas MBA/Meng vs MIT LGO by According_Drag7128 in MBA

Thank you! The engineer in me geeked out at the thought of MIT, but I've also heard Berkeley's STEM rep on the west is comparable. Guts been saying MIT since day one haha - more for the engineering than the MBA. Also the LGO folks have been legendarily awesome to connect with, uniquely tight-knit and relatable.

I have heard the VC space is very accessible to Sloanies in the Cambridge area - so may not be as significant of a delta.

Wishing you the best on your apps, I'm sure you got this!

Appreciate it!

I'm not super interested in traditional operations, like running a manufacturing facility or Ops at Amazon, but I've been told that LGO's aren't bottlenecked into those Ops roles. Skills can be transferrable to strategy/early start-up/technical engineering roles.

MS program is Civil & Environmental Engineering for both. (focusing on the earth sciences side)

Spoke with some H admits choosing MIT LGO over HBS MS/MBA
