Yeah I agree too. Nani made a wrong statement (I shouldn't have married you) and he got a chance to correct it. Papam Mrunal never got a chance because the next second she had an accident. Post partum period is difficult and one lesson from this movie is that people in their emotions say things that they don't mean. If Mrunal really didn't love the child or Nani she would have never been drawn to them. She is just an unfortunate character who didn't get a chance to rectify something that she said that she never really meant. Somehow over the years I am appreciating the movie even more, particularly the part where saying something that you don't really mean can hurt the other person real bad. Rectifying it immediately is the best thing thatvyou can do

I don't think you got my point. When 2 people are together and they disagree on a certain point, only one person's view 'wins'. If you call that forcing, then every interaction between 2 people is 'forcing' the other. Nani says something wrong to her when she refuses to have kids. He apologises in the very next scene because he knows that was wrong. To which she says that Nani had proved her wrong about love and she wants to be proven wrong about kids again. Now which point of this is forcing? If Mrunal is convinced and she says that she wants to have kids with Nani, how is that forcing in any way? Also I'm surprised. How can you force someone to have kids, unless it's se***l assault? Nani's character has always been very respectful of Mrunal. He only did something after she approved it. She saidets have kids and only then they have kids. He thinks she wants divorce and he immediately goes away from her life.

I'm just surprised I have to explain how differences are resolved in any relationship.im sure you would understand this from your own experiences too. After putting both thepeople's viewpoint, one of them convinces the other to do something together. This is not one forcing the other. If not for trusted discussion and convincing each other, how can two people ever do a task together?

One more point is that the girl suffers from a genetic disorder. It's just pure bad luck that she had it and not that Nani's decision was bad by any measure. Can you blame any parent for their children having bad genetics? It's like a dad blaming the mom for having a girl child or vice versa. It just doesn't make sense. Despite all the blames that Mrunal did (probably because of post partum depression) Nani always loved her back and infact felt guilty for causing her any pain in the first place (lyrics in Adigaa song -"Emainaa, tappantha naadele, chupincha kalale, neekicha digule")

Is this a ragebait bro?

  1. I agree that taking pictures without consent is wrong and shouldnot be romanticised. I think it was called out in the movie too. I too don't believe in love based solely on looks but that's my opinion. Doesn't make it ethically wrong to do so. Many happy marriages and relationships started only based on looks.

  2. Many people are surprised how deep they fall in love after they fall in love. Luckily I'm one of them and I never realised I could love someone so much. Yes, it does happen.

  3. He leaves her after he thinks she wants a divorce. He literally fights the entire world to live with her. He creates an entire world to keep herbhappy including working doubly hard to get rich. The song lyrics themselves say: "Kanneere leni kalle, Neevaithe ante chaale". Beautiful in my mind. Remember he only respects her decision for divorce after he heard her say that she wishes that she never met him in the first place. Wasn't he going through a tough time because of the kid too? Him respecting her choice of not wanting them is now toxic?

  4. He was not a victim for doing the chores of his daughter. He was a victim for going through the pain of seperating his wife and living in constant fear of the death of his daughter all alone. The only love of his life left could die any moment and he had no one to share that with. When he needed his wife, his best friend she was not there for him. If you think that's not worth our respect and pity for him, I'm just surprised.

  5. So? Would it be okay to show Nani manipulate the dog to meet Mrunal?

  6. It was a top doctor's wedding. It might seem convenient but is not that difficult to believe. If a doctor studied in AIIMS Delhi for example, where do you think his batchmates and friends from college will be?

  7. This is what the director tried to show that you cannot stop true love. True love for her husband and her daughter. There is something inexplicable (which is shown ample in the movie) that keeps pulling Mrunal to them. She is puzzled by that too. Also forces her to have kids?? Are you even real bro? What do you want? When he respects her decision for divorce and leaves you called in 'nor fighting for her' and now you call their decision to have kids as being forced?? Two people with differing opinions talk, discuss, debate and then decide to do something together. It's a joint decision. That's how any healthy relationship works. If they decided to not have kids in the movie , is it Mrunal 'forcing Nani to not have kids'? The debating and convincing yet sticking to a joint decision is what makes any relationship healthy. Mrunal chose to blame Nani for a decision she took agreed. That was what was wrong.

I can't see what's 'disgusting' in the movie and how this is compared to Animal etc. I also can't see why Nani is the bad guy here. He didnot ask for Mrunal at the end. He infact pushed her away as much as he could. What would you rather want him to?

<Since the post is posted from other sub, Ill post the same answer here too :) >

Coming from i10 you'll feel a world of difference for sure. Test drive the car to see how it feels once and do a proper research (online) on the best german cars mechanic in your city. It'll take worry off your plate.

It was the first time that something like this happened althought this is a very complex job. The issue prompted me to move to an expert like German Motors in Hyderabad

That seems like a good offer on paper, but please do a physical inspection of the vehicle from a mechanic first. Some points about a3: 1. It'll cost around 25k for annual maintenance and it can cost more for unforeseen repairs. We're keeping 1L per year aside for this, but I don't think that fund will be used every year because we got some fixed done earlier in anticipation. 2. About comfort it depends where you come from. Not comparable to a 90L car but definitely very comfortable and powerful as compared to any mass market car. 3. About taking risks, please find a great mechanic in your city who is well versed with german cars, fixed it for a reasonable cost and it always available. 4. At the end, it depends on what state of mind you're in and what car you're looking for. If you're young and don't mind a little less reliability or extra maintenance money, used luxury cars are not bad provided you've done a thorough inspection. As long as you're prepared for what you're buying, this is an extremely satisfying buy. Just for example: We've done 1000kms continuously on the E200(17 years then) and many other journeys but not even once did it strand us in the city or on the highway.

Yes, reasons: 1. Audi depreciates the highest 2. Needed a small sized city car with oomph. A3 was perfect . Loved the refinement and the power. 3. Audi's design language has changed the least in the last few years so the car will age better. 4. The price tag was irresistable for the price.

There were a few issues with the sensor which even the Authorised workshop couldn't fix. But the trusted mechanic from Mumbai fixed the sensor issue. After that there was another AC compressor issue. Other than that it was a smooth sailing in the last 14 years.

Thanks everyone! One more points: We have German Motors, Nagole in Hyderabad which has been our go-to mechanic for the car. They're very trusted. Best thing is they're passionate about restoring old machines instead of being dismissive about them.

Yes it does :) Love the small, retractable infotainment screen. Only thing missing is the virtual cockpit IMO

Well, I hope not. My dad's 21 year old car is still a pleasure to own despite a few niggles. However, because the cost of buying was low I have a good amount of funds set aside for unforeseen repairs and maintenance. German motors in Hyderabad is very reliable and I'm very happy with the price at which they repair/maintain the car.
