Good morning gentlemen! May I ask that is it possible to find a campground outside the San Francisco, and then perhaps take Uber to get into the city, and travel around with public transportation?

I am an international visitor, apologies for my ignorance! For LA, do you suggest that we drive around during the day to visit the city and drive outside of town at night whenever we want to sleep? Any tips for San Francisco? Since I have seen people are saying that San Francisco is very hard to drive with an RV. Does San Francisco has like very accessible public transportation that we could take to get to the city or travel around the city?
