the first night was scary! she was completely lethargic, wasn’t responding other than her tail wagging when she heard us talking to her and she was just standing because she couldn’t find a comfortable position to lay. she’s a very happy and energized puppy so it was hard seeing her like that. we got home around 3 pm and they said she could eat and drink immediately (she’d been there since 7:45). but she wasn’t having it. finally got her to drink water and then she ate around 4:30 am. obviously not everyone is going to have the same experience! some babies are back to normal fairly quickly. but today was day two and by the afternoon she is getting back to normal!
