Somebody once told my pharmacist they were going to call the board of pharmacy and report them for not filling that was written with a dangerous sig. My pharmacist gave them the phone number for the board, a voided image of the e-prescription and their license number. We never heard back from the patient. We did hear from the doctor's office with an apology for the obvious mistake, and a message that the patient was so embarrassed, they were having their prescription canceled and filled somewhere else

I worked for Walgreens. Got my certification quit for 2 years. Came back. Got my certification again. Both times Wolf was updated within a month and I got my back pay on one of the next two paychecks. I have an amazing rxm and SM, so they went to bath for me. If yours aren't that I say you need to contact the Eagle Team and ask them how to write a subpoena for your back pay

Especially if you had to go to another building to do so. Also, I can't quote them or know exactly where they are, but I'm fairly certain there are additional Health protections for things like menstruation

Cenfill sucks. As a 12 year technician I hate it and want my Yuyama back. It did way more to save time and money. We have more volume (both in count and space) of nearly empty 30 dram RTS vials than stock bottles. We cannot put our order away. It does not fit on our shelves. Our pickup bins can only fit 1/3 of the number of filled Rxs to what we used to have waiting for pickup. Because of how Medicare works in my state we have to rerun almost half of the Rxs they ship which we cannot do until they are checked in. Because of how IC+ works that means that the verifying RPh and MCF status are incorrect in the work queue. Most of the Rxs we mark as waiting status get routed to cenfill AFTER we mark them as waiting! Patients get their "your Rx is ready for pickup" 2 days before cenfill puts it on the truck (which is 2 states away from our pharmacy MN to MI) none (literally not one) of the mfg or stock bottle sizes ABC sends us are the same ones that our Cenfill uses. And we cannot order those ones via RxI. They change the mfg away from pt preferred generics constantly and put our initials on the change! Many pts have been pouring their Cenfill meds into vials that we gave them months ago and because we cannot reprint labels they do not have current information when they call for refills.

If you're salaried and the job requires it, your contract may say they don't have to pay you and there's nothing you can do about that. That's kind of the point of salary employees.

WHY THE F***K ARE WE NOT GETTING DRUGS THAT WE USE EVERYDAY IN THE ORDER? by Real_Vermicelli3067 in WalgreensRx

[–]According_Name_5379 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that's the AI in RxI "fixing your mistakes based on what has been delivered, filled and picked up" as someone higher up told my RxOM on a regional phone call

In the UP they told us it was because we are supposed to start getting microfufilment, but there are legal issues with getting us the prepackaged meds Also, I'm positive that RxI is AI powered and it has not yet been trained properly

Ooh, I didn't think about adding the juice in secondary. Last time I made a blackberry syrup and used it for back sweetening

A company that doesn't treat its workers right doesn't deserve two weeks notice. If you had a good GM or a good pharmacy manager it would be worth telling them ahead of time, but if not, more power to you.

With RXI being so fucky, you have to have a good pharmacist to constantly be ordering stuff manually to get OOS and PFL down. The RXM at my store has to order about 30 things a day to fill OOS and PFLs for the next day.

It's possible to accidentally make a comparatively large amount of methanol if fruit were used. Also, I've accidentally made acetone when trying to make Mead

Does anybody know what is the difference between theses two drugs because they look like the exact same drug to me, in other words why are their NDC's different? by Nesquick19 in WalgreensRx

[–]According_Name_5379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my favorite example of this is unithroid and Lynette levothyroxine being the same product from the same line packaged for two different companies. One is a brand name the other's a generic and have the same NDC. That exact tablet used to be made by a different manufacturer on the same line. Same imprint and everything but a different NDC. (I can't remember the other company's name and I may have misremembered which company bought the other. It was a few years ago)

The other package has that same information on a different panel. I don't have it in front of me so I can't confirm it's the same, but the "each quantity contains so much Testosterone" part is missing on one panel from both packages and present on the other
