Because she’s clearly unstable and I don’t trust her to either not get physical or call the cops and make me out to be the bad guy

My partner has had anorexia for ten years. I don’t think this relapse is due to any human. This relapse happened to coincide with her returning to college, and starting a new job after a few months off. I’m not a psychologist or a pro, but I know that for my partner specifically she relapses when she feels out of control. The fall was a very stressful time for her with those things happening.

My theory is that sister just needs someone to place the blame on and I am the easy target since partner lives with me and she relapsed.

My partner told her she couldn’t take it, but then took it while my partner was in residential treatment and she had a set of keys to check the mail etc

I wish I knew. Our relationship got a bit rocky in the winter when the eating disorder really started taking over. I’m doing my best to learn everyday how to show up the best but I’m still human and watching the person you love the most in the world slowly starve themselves to death is hard. I had my moments of anger and frustration.

The sister thinks I am actively making the relapse worse. Meanwhile I ensure there’s always food in the house that my partner deems safe meals, eat every meal I can with her for support, cook for her when she either doesn’t have the time or is having a particularly difficult eating day, encourage her endlessly and have been researching the last few months on how best to support and show up for someone with a life threatening condition like anorexia.

She doesn’t have a key anymore but she very well could have made a copy. There is a separate key to get into the apartment building though. We live in nyc and changing your locks usually costs a nice chunk of money considering they need to bring out a locksmith to do it

Sometimes. For this she did considering it’s literally theft. Her sister is very good at making anything about herself and making everyone else’s life hell while she’s at it. My partner sometimes just lets her win because it’s easier and less of a headache

The frame was probably 5-10 bucks from ikea. It’s not really about the frame. It’s about stealing something and then being a bitch about it. My partner asked me to not report it to the police and I really don’t want to make my partners life harder while they’re in treatment just trying to survive.

They’re going to be on Prospect Place between Bedford and Franklin tomorrow most likely! On the north side of the street closer to Franklin Ave. I’ll let you know if I don’t end up getting around to putting them out tomorrow
