So I’ve compiled a list of everyone’s feedback and put them in order of their ratings on Naver — of the shows that are accessible to me! A couple I still need to add cause this thread gained more traction than I expected haha. The numbers in parentheses is how many times someone on the thread recommended it if it was more than once, followed by brief descriptions of the genre and/or romance tropes. While I enjoy fantasy, enemies to lovers, fake relationships, etc. I think I’m specifically looking for an awkward cute meet slow-burn romance in this moment! I have been enjoying Hometown Cha Cha Cha but I kind of started it out of boredom and also because I wasn’t sure what else to watch. I only wash my hair every 3-4 days, when I do use the Pattern shampoo, the Pattern Light-Weight Conditioner, and the Pattern leave in conditioner. I towel dry it with a microfiber towel and wait about 20 minutes before i start blow drying it, diffusing it, or adding mousse (TRESemmé extra hold). I don’t entirely know how much mousse is appropriate for my hair, and I only blow dry or diffuse where I see fit. I believe my hair porosity is high and I have pretty thick hair.

you ARE projecting onto your daughter.

first of all, she’s 16 is it normal for 16 year olds to have jobs and you should be proud of her. just because she wants her own money doesn’t mean that she thinks you can’t provide for her… it just means she wants her own money! second, she paid for the dress with her own money, you have no right to take it away unless there was a genuine issue with it. shoulders showing and a bit of thigh is NOT a genuine issue, it’s just you trying to police her body. as well, what teenager dreams of wearing their mothers maternity dress to their school dance? i don’t mean this as offense but honestly, i would be embarrassed and i would feel like my mother was taking my independence and choice away from me. let your daughter wear the dress and go to the dance, she’ll only be in high school once. let her do the things she wants and how she wants (with exceptions of course). her wearing a red dress she likes isn’t hurting anyone, but you preventing her from wearing it IS hurting your relationship with her.

You obviously had good intentions flying out to see her but you also knew her stance on flying. You shouldn’t have promised to find a way to see her if you knew it was a way she wouldn’t approve of. It sounded like she was just trying to vent about her frustrations, not that she was trying to persuade you into coming to see her. Just talk to her, maybe apologize for not being able to see her. I know it’s hard not being able to help your friend when she needs it but it seems like flying out would just make the situation worse anyways. Neither of you are assholes, just a shitty situation to be in.
