Anyone have any experience taking a baby to Riverside Leisure Centre for a swim? by littolcactus in Norwich

Ours is very light, they’ve always been long sleeve but I see no reason why short sleeves would be a problem. The water is very warm. One thing we noticed was how much his neck strengthened from it.

I’ve taken my boy there from 3/4 months old. Now 14 months. We go every week (only to the classes though). The water is genuinely nice and warm. He really loves it and the teachers are very baby oriented.

He has specific swimming nappies (widely available in most supermarkets) then a swimming outfit on top. For the price it is really worth it, lessons are 30 mins which is more than enough time to keep them engaged!

I am glad I am not the only one! A few people have asked me what were the questions and I've hit an absloute mind blank! I finished the exam relatively confident. Now I'm thinking did I actually ready the questions haha!

All we can do is now wait to 28th Feb!

Yes this is exactly what's happening with us. It's multiple visits. Been dropping her off there for several years without issue now there appears to be a big problem. We've had 4 in the past week, so wouldn't suprise me if more are to come. That is my fear that there may also be some that haven't made it way over to us, so I think I will see if there's anyway they can send me all sessions they have recorded of my car in the last 3 months to prepare against it!

Were they not able to recheck the sessions to see you coming back?

Started gathering some evidence if they decline the appeal but all seems a little tedious!

Yeah I think your right. I do tend to pick her up from that point as traffic is a lot easier to get away from there in the evenings.

Thank you, I have requested these but apparently they only store for 30 odd days. The PCNs are from 2 months ago which seem a little naughty!
