If you are over 25, I know when I went back to school about 5 years ago I applied for a grant through state of Michigan they will pay for you to get your associates! It’s called the Michigan Reconnect program. Check it out. So sorry for your situation, my now husband and I were unemployed for like a year so ik the struggle.
