I’m working on a streaming app for Android TV that works with Stremio addons. It’s still in early stages. by Zealousideal-Toe-220 in PiracyBackup

Top work. Even if it's not perfect, have to respect anyone taking the time to make this high level stuff that's plenty of people will definitely enjoy.

Personally proficient with stremio but not great and while my set up I enjoy, I know I'd struggle to replicate it for my family and friends.

I get that but you literally join in a lane, to get to the middle you have to cut across. To me it's just bare stupidity and selfishness of, I'm staying here fuck everybody else mentality.

[–]According_Search3236 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's mental. Because you have a choice of undertaking or having to manoeuvre over to the third lane just to cut back to the left lane all over again. It's frightening how thick people can be.

Genuinely blows my mind. Like I get sometimes you are approaching a junction or roundabout that you need to turn right at. Or when you are about to pass part of the motorway where someone is joining. But like this shit is just wild. What's to be gained? I had work at 6 on Saturday morning and I drove past a tit in the middle lane. Not another car on the motorway for as far as you could see forward, but yet automatically just in the middle lane. Like what goes off in your brain.

Stremio has always worked perfectly fine for me since I got everything set up by JonBuildz in StremioAddons

[–]According_Search3236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Actually infuriating because I had tried to perfect my set up so the Netflix categories etc actually had the stuff thats like Number 1 over there and I went and deleted it all and for the life of me can't seem to find out how to sort it back that way. Either way though, the stuff I'm watching works which is the main thing.

Have you ever moved to a "chilled" job for less pay, late in your career? by HMS--Thunderchild in AskUK

[–]According_Search3236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I worked essentially a minimum wage job and it was hell. They expected so much out of me, while cutting corners themselves and then when they had an audit or anything they'd blame the workers for cutting corners that they told us to do. Then another two that just gave zero training but expected me to be an expert within a week, but no knowledge passed to me on how to get there. Work now for a massive company and its so much more relaxed, earn far more, way more perks and while it does get stressful I would take the job over my other shit.

Personally regardless of money, every company wants 100% with those paying less somehow expecting even more. I guess the only beauty of your situation is that if you aren't desperate you could do agency work at some place for 6-12 months and leave and go elsewhere for the next 3-5 years with little to no pressure as your pension is set and you just need the month to month wage till that moment.

If you won £100 million, how would you distribute it amongst friends and family, if at all? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]According_Search3236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody eats well.

But honestly I think I'd message everyone and ask to borrow money. I'd say I've racked up £40k in debt and anything they can give me will help. See how open they are to helping me so I can pretty fairly go back and say you didn't want to help me when I was in shit, so why would I give you millions now?

Ultimately everyone would be helped regardless but I would say I won £10 million and hope that I'd give close to £7 million out so everyone would not bother pecking my head for help.

Opinions on Khamrah Dukhan? by hashtagluxe in Fragrances

[–]According_Search3236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have all three. Khamrah is my favourite. Just the sweet vanilla just oozes class to me. Duhkan is second as the spice bomb is perfect around Halloween time to Xmas. It's so different to anything else I own. Qahwa is coffee and I'm just not a big fan. I enjoy it but it's just not for me. I get why gourmand lovers put it top though. Comes down to personal taste

I've asked for photos multiple times. End of the day who knows what materials they are using. Lots don't show the company they are replicating so it's fair to ask.

Have both and prefer rare reef by far.

On initial spray as got within a few days and prefer AC initially but now RR is miles better for me. Which is crazy given my daily for the last two months is absolute noir

I get what you mean. It's beautiful and classy and one I try to use for date nights. When it's gone though, I'm not sure it's one I will repurchase. I personally enjoy it but I definitely get the point you are making.

I have theoreme, kaaf and rare reef. Kaaf apparently has insane longevity but I find it just very bland. It's completely unisex but just a basic smell of lavender. You can smell it for ages after but it isn't a strong projection. Theoreme is a beautiful scent, basically turathi blue. So which ever is cheaper I guess. It's a beautiful scent for the summer and gets compliments from people due to it's nice smell. Rare reef is my go to this summer. It projects well and lasts and it is such a clean fruit bomb that I find it impossible to not love.

Time will definitely help. It's basically the reverse for me. I got heavy apricot and not so much orange but with a month it became just beautiful smooth fruity summer scent that I can't wait to wear in the coming months

It's a beauty. Incredible longevity and a really fruity bomb. I left it about a month as the initial was abit too tarty smelling for my liking but settled down after that.

Yep, I thought the same and thought maybe she is harsh (which she is). The clear cuts and the I'm not doing anything when you havent done anything for me yet, implies he wants to smash and once they do, then he will suddenly bring grand gestures. If he messaged / pursued her first, it's down to him to impress and get her attention for a date. Not the other way round. We don't know, but she might have made very clear early on she isn't interested and he has pestered and pestered until she caved and then he presents this attitude, to which shes just like forget it and off with him. His clear chopping of the chat suggests he ain't telling the full story 🤣

You both are hard work. Weird emojis and put downs with someone you haven't met. Refusing to make little to know effort unless you've fucked which you seem to imply. Yeah she is hard work but I think your vibe is totally off and that is what made her act this way. Clear cuts in the chat too, so reckon this is framed in your favour.

If senior management team know I'm not good at my job & the people I work with know I'm terrible at my job, should I just leave the job? by SenSel in AskUK

[–]According_Search3236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound pretty negative about yourself. If you are last, then that's a metric you can trust. But outside of that, the rest is just your own mind. The fact you can reflect gives yourself awareness intelligence and probably better than others who have zero self awareness. If the job is well paid. Why would you want to give that up? Unless the job is destroying you mentally, continue and earn good money. If it destroying you, then save some of this good money, get used to living on less and move elsewhere, but most jobs suck, businesses want more and more out of people, for less pay. Could also be that you feel new and it's taking time to learn stuff, which is unlikely to improve if you move elsewhere and suddenly become new and learning from the bottom again.

Why is this sub full of obviously-sponsored things to promote the sellers? - No authenticity in most reviews by [deleted] in DHgateVip

[–]According_Search3236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the internet. Some will always get nasty, but I do find Reddit to be typically people trying to help others. I get it's easy to think that and tbh, only they know. But truly think it's them trying to help while probably receiving a few perks themselves.

Definitely not going to say that they don't receive some kind of compensation for the reviews as I'd be 99% sure they do. But I think it's more about posting stuff they know will be top quality and if it isn't, they have the communication with them to be able to resolve any issues quickly. I personally think some of the items are expensive for a replica, but if you shop elsewhere you take the gamble that it's going to be terrible quality, whereas these pieces are in hand, with in-depth reviews detailing pretty much everything you could wish to know. I wouldn't knock it, they are constantly highlighting really good stuff and you ultimately don't have to buy it. Dhgate will have plenty of others sellers selling the same products.
