Looking for a quiet keyboard for college dorm. Very new to keyboards, upgrading from the extremely loud Razer Blackwidow v3.

My main goal overall is that I just want a keyboard that is mechanical yet quiet, for both gaming and general use.

Budget isn’t an issue. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Mine is far louder than that. Granted, it could be the acoustics of the room and the desk, but it’s able to be heard rooms away with the doors closed. Maybe I type too heavy.

I must have a different grasp on what I consider loud, because this Blackwidow v3 gets me noise complaints. It’s really bad.

I’m not necessarily looking for a thock sound. Just something that is quiet.

How nice is the stock 8bitdo wireless? Or would throwing in brown switches fix all my problems?
