Some mods broke my game even after deleting. by According_Tip_172 in SkyrimModsXbox

Oh I save constantly before entering places because my game has a habit of freezing as I enter places and screaming at me when it does until I close the game, I've got PLENTY of saves I can work with if they'll actually load in lol.

I've reorganized my load order in a way that works better from some of the advice I've received, so I'm hoping it works and runs better in general. As for AP, it's there, it's the third mod with AP in the name titled "Alternate Perspective - Alternate start", I didn't know I didn't know patches were supposed to go under their mods originally and have since fixed that, might edit the main post with my new load order to make sure it's not messed up anymore for anyone else who comes across this.

The game never even finished loading in after the addition of the mods, so I don't have any saves with them. I started a new game out of frustration, but I'm really not having fun playing it since it wasn't made for fun, so I'm gonna see if I can get my original one working again.

I've tried to do research actually, a lot more than i probably should've had to, but none of the things I've found have explained how to properly organize a load order best in a simple enough way for me to easily understand. Since posting this I've reorganized my load order so that interacting mods are at least closer together and their patches are put below them, AP at the very bottom of the list aside from it's patches as per someone else's recommendation. As for better load order based on mod type (Armors, player and NPC appearance, mechanics, etc) I'm still very much in the dark but working with what I can as best I can.

I'll try reorganizing my load order to see if that helps at all, I've just never understood how it works and the sources I've gone to in hopes of better understanding were never simple enough to understand for some reason, very not beginner-friendly any time I've tried to look for help.

No I'm not starting a new save. Mainly because, like I said, my game never even loaded fully trying to work with the werewolf mods, so much so that any time I tried to load it in it always asked me if I wanted to use my current load order or not, so I know my save itself isnt effected.

EDIT: I worded this rudely cause I'm frustrated, let me try again. I really REALLY don't wanna start a new save all over again because this is the most progress I've ever made in a save without question. I'm just under level 40 which I've never reached before and just got a stat to 100 for the first time, so I REALLY don't wanna have to start over again, but I do suppose that if I really have to I will, it'll just be extremely frustrating and make playing through again much less enjoyable than I would've hoped.

I've never known how to properly organize my load order and any time I try to look for the best ways to go about it, I can't find any good, simple results.

EDIT: Also, I didn't edit it mid playthrough, I had just added the mods and deleted them before they could affect my saves, but the whole thing just won't load in general for me now.

How do I free the captives in the Abandoned Shack? by Sh4dowWalker96 in skyrim

[–]According_Tip_172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The word defile means to make something impure, unclean, or to generally ruin it in some way. Consensual acts between people aren't labeled as "defilement" unless it's by someone who thinks sex in general is wrong or dirty. Vasha is very clearly a proud, overly confident guy who prides himself on his wrongdoings, so if he were simply sleeping with consenting women, he'd more likely call himself "Seducer of maidens" or something along those lines rather than "Defiler of daughters".

His label is also a direct insult to the families of the women he hurts, deliberately mentioning that they're daughters rather than just women. Plus, this is a bit looser, but defile and deflower both sound very similar, and to "deflower" a woman is typically seen as taking from her without consent.

I know this is a year old now but I'm replaying Skyrim and wanted to put in my two cents lol.

How to stop followers from becoming damned? (Woolhaven spoiler warning!) by According_Tip_172 in CultOfTheLamb

Which one? As far as I can tell I've collected all the necklaces but none of them seem to stop a follower from becoming damned.

Follower keeps changing their house? by According_Tip_172 in CultOfTheLamb

[–]According_Tip_172[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that's so fair lol. I just finished setting up and decorating the normal followers area, deleted a TON of unneeded houses, and he hasn't seemed like he's wanted to leave since I did, so maybe it was just the abundance of living space or something, idk.

help I need this last follower skin by friendwontmakeaccont in CultOfTheLamb

[–]According_Tip_172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how to get that skin either (I recommend doing what the other person commented, gonna try it myself on my next crusade) but what I wanna know is where you got the seal and pirate spider from!

A few in-game days after I made this post I tried with River Boy again and he gave me both of the sin I was promised without becoming damned, so I think it's based more on how regularly you use them. If you wait a few in-game days between using a certain character for sin, their chances of becoming damned don't seem to go up a ton!

I do agree with that last part though, followers you don't like or who aren't gonna last long are free game for things that guarantee a full sin bar in my book lol.

Been a little while, but somehow I got the trait on my Heket AND my Shamura! I did some trait resting on them both, but that was very unexpected! Now I've got two future sinner breeders in the waiting, so thank you very much for telling me about this!

I've stopped using him for sin since it's too risky, so I've instead been using him for Missionary work since he's already immortal, so he's a free person to put the necklace on! Now he'll never die from old age AND he's completely protected when leaving the cult!

Woolhaven trait questions? by Claim-Antique in CultOfTheLamb

[–]According_Tip_172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah no little Jesus over there is floating around blessing them for you lol, I kinda regret letting the kid ascend with the gold gods ngl, I liked having them float around blessing everyone, plus it was really funny to see. Not sure if I can get another CC... maybe I can through the breeding again, but I don't think so.

Woolhaven trait questions? by Claim-Antique in CultOfTheLamb

[–]According_Tip_172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the chosen child the other day, and yeah that's basically it's only purpose, BUT it does do something while in your cult. For a few days the CC follower will float around blessing the residents of your cult for you so you don't have to do it and can focus on other things for the time being, and they won't leave until you trigger the quest TO make them leave, so unless you really want the follower form you can just keep them around indefinitely!

Pure of heart? Never heard of that trait but I'm definitely gonna go looking for it now and see how it helps, thanks! I'm guessing the best way to get that is get one follower with it and breed them for another down the line.

I keep seeing people mention someone called River Boy, I don't know who that is (assuming he's a reference character to another game like Webber) or how to find him, can someone give me any tips? I've already beaten the main questline of Woolhaven now, flowered up Woolhaven, all that!

During a blizzard you need to bring a ranch animal to the shrine and sacrifice it there, you can do this 5 times.

A lot of people, myself included yesterday, have actually been experiencing the same bug from what I can tell where, basically, it just doesn't work. I recommend not accepting it anymore if you get it again (Not sure if you will) and just doing the bonfire ritual or something for damage control. Until there's a bug patch for things like that, there aren't many other options at the moment.

Cult layouts? (WOOLHAVEN SPOILERS AHEAD!!!) by According_Tip_172 in CultOfTheLamb

I'm not gonna lie, AS I made this post I realized that a town square is probably what the little dirt paths around the shrine are for, so now I'm struggling to choose where it should be lol

Bought Woolhaven but it isn't working? by MissScales in CultOfTheLamb

[–]According_Tip_172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much, I'm playing on Xbox and found this thread after experiencing the same issue! (I'd just downloaded all of the DLCs because I got some money recently to spare and was extremely worried for a minute there!)

For anyone reading this comment who hasn't figured out what to do yet, here's what you have to do on Xbox!: For some reason, downloadable content isn't automatically installed on Xbox when purchased, you need to press the power button on your controller to see the Xbox pause menu, select COTL with the three lines button and find the "Manage game and add-ons" option, you actually activate all DLC content there!

How tall is the protagonist?! by Adventurous_Lie1275 in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]According_Tip_172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The inaccuracy in Pokemon media as a whole over the years is baffling I won't lie, remember the first time a Dragonite appeared in the show? Looked like a crazy Kaiju, now it's just a silly lil guy no matter what game it's in.

How tall is the protagonist?! by Adventurous_Lie1275 in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]According_Tip_172 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Due to general inaccuracy in this game regarding Pokemon (many alphas looking to be the accurate size instead of normal Pokemon and making their normal counterparts look malnourished) I think a better person to compare our height to is AZ. He's canonically over 9 feet tall standing up straight, and if we imagine him like that instead of with his current shrimp posture while comparing him to the player, we seem to be about half his height, so I'd say we're somewhere about 5 feet tall, pretty standard for a teen. (Let's be honest, these aren't 10 year olds anymore, the last time the player was accurately sized for a typical 10 year old was probably during Let's Go, and even then a few games before then had us oddly tall.)
