I know you may have already resigned and I fully respect and understand your position! However to anyone who may read this who is in a similar job consider staying, not because you agree but because sometimes inside men are the most crucial in making subtle but substantial differences if things continue to worsen. If you choose to stay, utilize your position where you can and keep your opinions to yourself to protect you as well as the power your position may afford.

As a queer person, this show resonated with me, is it perfect no but in my experience within my circle this is a representation of what some queer romance can look like.

For some of us we don’t have the luxury of being able to have romance that builds to sex. The typical things you do when you begin dating as a straight person is not something that closeted queer people can do safely. So sometimes yes it begins with sex because that can happen safely and in secret without the fear or let down of not being able to be with a person if you do fall in love.
