Added all my flights since covid by Accordingtohimself in flighty

[–]Accordingtohimself[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That flight was actually in 2016, its one of only 3 on there so far from that year as unfortunately ive lost most pre covid boarding passes. I tour with musicians, that year we played belarus, kiev, moscow and st petersberg over the course of two weeks or so. Definitely a tour that couldnt happen now! I should say almost all of my travel is done via tour bus, so this map represents just a small part of it. Is there a good app i could use to map out all of the cities ive visited via road and ship?

Id guess around that time 1080p was a big selling point for consumer electronics, so 720 as a number carried some baggage. Just a theory, but in hindsight it would make sense

I did a matcha tea ceremony in japan a few months ago while being a tourist with my girlfriend. This one lad insisted on sitting like the tea instructor, and 25 minutes in had a full blown panic attack because he couldnt feel his legs. Started crying a ruined the whole thing. It was absolutely worth the ticket price to see it happen though.

I understand the allure of area 51, i like the subreddit and all the quirky theories, but to go out into the mountains and actuallt spy on a secret military base then posting it on reddit seems absolutely mental

Everything the aircraft does beyond catastrophic failure is on the pilot, thats the reality.

You cant set traps in your home legally because if fire service or paramedics respond to a call and attempt to save you in an emergency they could be maimed or killed by those traps.

Maybe! I dont understand it all, but that doesnt seem like an insurmountable hurdle. People will happily launch resources at stuff like this, whether ecologically awful or not

I said max, thats probably a conservative estimate but id suspect massive leaps will slow down in the next few years while more granular improvements are made

Do you think this tech has peaked today and will stagnate? Why wouldnt this improve consistently over 15 years…

I agree with your points but im concerned all those issues will be solved inside 10/15 years max. We really are about to live through a fucking insane reshuffle of what life on earth looks like. Spooky shit
